I like girls.

That´s right.

Double Post:
Well, I better add more. I made this same thread over five years ago, but I have a feeling it won´t survive long nowadays.

26 months without having a conversation with a woman. Well, except some old ass nurse we can´t count. The female guards that did work at the prison were vicious and unapproachable. Can´t blame them. Nothing but waking up to fucking men in my fucking cell, in the mess hall, in the gym, in the hallways and yard, everywhere. I´m sick and tired of having to be around the male form and will probably be this way until this year´s over or so.

But now I´m here, third world country or not, and I see ladies all time. Its´s custom here to hug them when you greet them. I have regained something I´ve been missing for far too long. So let this thread stand as my, and anyone else´s appreciation for the female form and presence.

Double Post:
Jesus, let this thread also stand as the product of a vicious hangover.

Void Sep 4, 2006 12:43 PM

I LOVE girls.

Even if I was gay, I'd still LOVE girls.

They are just so pretty and I just love them.

At least you're honest

The Wise Vivi Sep 4, 2006 04:36 PM

Me too. I enjoy being with women a lot. Especially the really attractive ones. It happens rarely, but the majority of the girls I know, 8 out of 10 are at least attractive.

PiccoloNamek Sep 4, 2006 04:39 PM

I have to admit, girls are pretty awesome.

Such a Lust for Revenge! Sep 4, 2006 04:43 PM

Ha Piccolo, your post made me smile. THAT´S WHAT THIS THREAD IS ALL ABOUT! I can be pissed off after reading a shitty email. I go down the street, walk by a pretty girl and she smiles at me. FUCK YES. LIFE IS OKAY AGAIN. So what if she probably only smiled at me to disarm any harm she thought I was about to inflict?

PiccoloNamek Sep 4, 2006 04:59 PM

I know man. I was at church on saturday doing the sound for a wedding and a girl I know walks up to me, and with a smile, tells me hello and asks me how I'm doing. This was the first time I had seen her dressed up so nicely, and I was almost shocked by how pretty she was. I can't believe I never noticed it before. The whole experience was very pleasing.

That's awesome. It cool when there is someone you have known for a little while, and you think, meh... she's okay.... then one day, she knocks you off your feet!

Gechmir Sep 4, 2006 06:11 PM

I'd go gay for girls.

Totally.

Star Man Aevum Sep 4, 2006 06:14 PM

The University of Wyoming seems to be a gathering ground for women who average six feet in height.

I love this place.

I try to do that, since my normal everyday attire consists entirely of t-shirts (witty though they may be...) and jeans. Then I have a concert and suddenly I have to dress wa~ay up.

I work in a store sandwiched between two college campuses. Its probably one of the only reasons I still work there.

I get along better with the fairer sex, it seems. And they get along pretty well with me. Not a problem!

Also, I agree with Devo. I think girls have an inherently more attractive body form, but I'm not necessarily attracted to it.

Hey, how do you people feel about average-looking girls smiling at you? A-okay? 'Cause if that cheers people up, I just might smile some more. If they have to be drop-dead gorgeous, why bother?

Fleshy Fun-Bridge Sep 4, 2006 11:13 PM

How would you feel if I smiled at you?

Smiling in general is supposed to help you releive stress and feel better. Might as well.

Arkhangelsk Sep 4, 2006 11:27 PM

I will agree with blue and Devo: the female form is more attractive to the male form. I've said it to many guy friends, and especially to a friend of mine [male] who was modeling nude while I had to draw him. I resented the fact that, since we had my friend for a model, we didn't get to draw any girls the entire semester, as I would much rather have a bunch of charcoal nude females than males.

Most men seem to agree with me.

I think Seinfeld sums it up:

Hmm, good point.

Then again... if someone ugly smiles at people in a group, they might start making fun of 'em or whatever... But maybe I'm being too critical of humanity.

Also, there's the whole thing about suspecting that people are hitting on you... I get suspicious when guys smile at me.

Yes, I do believe this is the kid who tries to elicit the cybersex from anyone who may potentially have a vagina.

Oh hey if it weren't for girls, I'm not sure life would be worth living. You know, in some skewed reality in which humanity can survive without the fairer sex. That is definitely cheesy horror flick material there.

Fire On Ice Sep 4, 2006 11:31 PM

Honestly, I don't get along with many other women. I find them mostly to be superficial, judgemental and pretty unkind in general, at least the girls I've dealt with. That or they're coming onto me and while I have nothing against gays, I don't like women hitting on me all the time, it makes me feel so uncomfortable.

Summonmaster Sep 4, 2006 11:48 PM

90% of my friends are girls and it's been that way since Grade School, so I like girls. Lots of them, and meeting more and more as time progresses.

Sarag Sep 5, 2006 12:15 AM

Gotta say, having some broads in the group really makes things better. I hate sausagefests, but then, who likes being the odd man out?

Dudes are okay too, not gonna lie.

I'm so glad you folks can recognize a heap of sarcastic remarks when you see them.

Oops, guess not.

Thanatos Sep 5, 2006 08:27 AM

Girls?

Oh. Nothing much in the world like having a girl smile sweetly at you after a hard day's work, and giving you a hug, really.

Skaijo Sep 5, 2006 11:00 AM

I'm actually not a big fan of the hello hug. It's an invasion of my personal space and not takes care of keeping their BO in check. That plus, somedays, I don't want to be hugged. I perfer to just keep casual actions with causal friends and save hugging for the more meaningful people in my life.

I get suspicious when unattractive, middle aged guys smile at me. That's harrassment. But if an attractive young guy smiles at me, it's called flirting. =p (or so I've heard somewhere).

On campus, way too many girls dress in jeans and t-shirts. I actually like dressing up at times. I like girls too, but in a friendly way.

On the topic on the "prettier" body, I've seen many forms of art glorify the male body. For example, David. Male bodies can be quite an art form in themselves.

Dark Nation Sep 5, 2006 03:33 PM

I'll tell you what... you could be having the most shitty day in the world, but when a pretty girl smiles at you and you can tell she is genuienly glad to see you, despite your P.O'd attitude... THAT is a big wave of unstressing emotive energy.

Or in simpler words: When a pretty girl is glad to see you, on a horrible day, it washes away a lot of the stress.

This thread needs to be prop-able.

Paco Sep 5, 2006 04:17 PM

Are you kidding? Yeah Sean Connery is old, but the man has a fucking CHARM about him. Shit man... My friend Jason met the man and HE almost fucked him. George Clooney is cool too though, so I guess that works in case the girl is really not into wrinkles and white hair.

Haji Sep 5, 2006 05:23 PM

After reading a few posts, this is definitely a thread i can agree on.

Women are just great. Tall ones, short ones, thin ones, thick ones....

goils! goils! goils!

Oh, I especially like lesbians who are dominant in their relationships. Alot of the ones I know are cute, or even hot, and they just get whatever I say, so it's fun to talk to them. And on top of that, some of them sometimes give it up once to a guy every so often. So whenever I'm around, I try and solicit myself as a sort of "guilty pleasure."

Girls rock!

They got a better form to look at, yes, a better form to touch, feel up and leer at, but the male body form is superior.

I am the opposite of feminism.

Alice Sep 7, 2006 08:23 AM

I like girls. Even though I'm probably the most heterosexual woman you'll ever meet, I can definitely see what all the fuss is about. Women are soft and pretty, they smell nice and they sound nice. Their lips and hair are soft. Their skin is smooth. Their bodies do amazing things. Basically, I'm really glad to be female.

Has this ever actually happened to you, or anyone you know? It sounds very much like a typical male fantasy, but not something that's likely to happen in real life.

hehe, only OO to be at the source of such an incongrous thread.

If anything on this earth, women to me are proof of Divinity. They're the true exception on this earth that can really be seen as pure work of art as opposed to everything else that is purely the way it is for concrete reasons. The comparison between a female ape and a woman is eloquent: When the ape is covered with fur and have it's sexual organs really apparent, women are hairless, exept on their sexual organ as in a way to hide them. This, and the fact their bodies seems to favour aesthetics over functionality on many aspects, sure leads to metaphysical interrogations ...

Women are attractive because those are the ones that are more likely to attract a mate. I'm sure if we could go back to the earliest humans, they wouldn't exactly be attractive to you, eh? Not to mention that even though society views women as pieces of art, when you get down to it, they're not passive objects.

I like girls too! They're squishy and fun to cuddle with (guys are fun to cuddle with too, I suppose...). It's ok for them to be cute, but they can be noisy and angsty too.

Although I think the male form is much more appealing to me than a woman's, although a woman's body is much easier to draw than a male's. Mmm, all that muscle...oh! and the Adam's Apple too! <3

You think so? I always felt the opposite. A male muscular body is easier to me because you have clear stucture lines. The balance of a woman's body is much more subtle and the smallest mistake will screw the whole thing.

Hum, that's true too, but for me, it's the opposite; if you mess up with a woman's body, then you can easily "fix" it, whereas the lines on a male's body has to be very precise.

But, then again, I'm a girl, and some of my other girl artist friends think girls are easier to draw too =/

In any case, I really like cute, nice girls who are shorter than me (unfortunetly, that's a small number TT^TT )

Seriously. Nobody cares which gender is superior, since the chances are the majority of people will be biased, and base their opinion around their own gender. If my ex-fiancee's anything to judge by, women are simply excess skin around the vagina. I'm going to cop some shit for saying that.

Dubble Sep 8, 2006 12:06 PM

Speaking of girls and weddings - why are bridesmaids dresses always so ucking fugly. And don't give me that "to make the bride look better by comparison" crap.

I was in a wedding a few weeks ago where the bridesmaids were all in bright blue and chocolate brown. They looked like blueberries wrapped in shit. Pretty girls should not look like blueberries wrapped in shit. :(

Soluzar Sep 8, 2006 12:42 PM

Sure I like girls. I like one in particular more than most, and there are some girls I don't like at all, but overall... girls are people I like. The reason, I suppose, is that they are such a nice shape. There's a lot of other things, and the reasons why I like that one particular girl are a lot more complex, but the main thing that makes me like girls as a group is the shape of the female body. It has some bits that make a wonderful pillow, and some other bits that bits of me fit into very nicely.

Aww, I love blue and brown combos... I guess bridesmaids dresses can look pretty tacky, but the last wedding I went to, they were all red and very flattering/tastefully done, without detracting attention from the bride. Also, it's really hard to pick a color/style that will look good on everybody (especially when some of those people may have awkward/different body shapes).

In the past year or two Ive stopped looking at girls from a physical stand point and started looking for someone I actually like to be around.

Sex gets boring, and so does physcial attraction. The girls ive always liked the most, are ones I can talk to without having to play kiss ass, and walk on eggshells.

The whole "Ive got the hottest girlfriend" bit got old after my first year of college. I would date girls that are attractive, but ultimately uncompatible, and then we would break up after about a month.

I love girls, and I love companionship.

I totally agree with you. Although the mentality for many people in College/University stays at that hottest girlfriend deal as far as graduation... for me personally, I am around the middle. I want an attractive girl, but someone I can have lots in common with and can be very interested in each other for a long time.

Because wedding 'fashion' today is shit. Sorry, but I've been to a helluva lot of weddings (quartet musician...), and there might have been one occasion where the bridesmaids had decent dresses. As blue said, it's really hard to pick a color and style to fit everybody -- but it would be 50x easier to do that if every.single.dress wasn't fucking strapless. I swear, the number of bridesmaid dresses and wedding dresses I've seen with straps is like, zero. And there's always the bride's two requisite 'fat friends' that simply don't look good in a strapless gown. Or some girls just don't fill out the front of the dress, so it's all gappy and ugly.

Of course, I want to have a late Fall wedding (whenever that comes). To hell with all this summer wedding shit.

i hear that man, as for girls i think they rule about 70% of them are moderatly attractive and are easy to talk to (most of them anyway) whats not to like?

See? Tasteful, flattering (even on the pregnant girl!)... it's all good. And the flower girl is pretty dang cute, too.

I love girls. More often than not, I forget how they complete my life.

For me, merely learning how one particular female is unique in nature is inherently enticing. Watching girls use their body language in a variety of situations is something else I enjoy dearly. How they carry themselves makes a large impact on me, as well. All of this, combined with their sense of humor, motivations, direction, and overall demeanor, is why ladies never cease intrigue and captivate me. I try and pick up on these subtle characteristics wherever, and whenever possible.

Abuuu? I don't see how these two statements go together, to be honest. There are plenty of sexy women out there who you don't have to play games with. I see no reason you should sacrifice the physicality of a relationship in hopes of a deeper emotional connection.

Not knocking the mind link or anything, but why should she be an uggo?
I suppose I should point out the fact I find most women attractive though.

Im not saying she has to be a dog to be interesting. Im just saying I no longer sit at restaurants with friends, and completely drop the conversation were having to oogle a girl walking by. Its just not something I do now. Ill admit looks are the first thing people notice, but Its how we let it effect us afterwards that matters. I suppose I shouldnt say looks are completely out of the question, but they are taking a major backseat at the moment.

Sex for anyone whos had it knows its not overrated, but also not the most important thing in a relationship. Sex to me only helps affirm what you already have. Ive never been the type to just go out looking for girls with the only intention being sex.

Hey now, I'm no hard hat when I go out, and I never have been. That doesn't mean I don't oggle (oogle, oggle?) ladies when they walk by. My daddy raised me right. That is to say, you've gone too far if you turn your head to follow her in a public place. Real southern gent, I am.

I do think you took what I said a little farther than I meant it though, as I am not about sex for the sake of sex. I just don't see any real problem with mistaking lust for love, so long as it's an honest mistake. It's not ideal, no, but it's not all that awful, either.

That said, I really love ladies. All of you. Yes, even you.

My comments were less a personal attack on you, and more of a general observation.

Mistaking love for lust happens. Staring at a beautiful woman isnt wrong, but losing your train of thought and having to make it public that you just witnessed a beautiful woman passing is just getting old to me. Its like alot of guys do it just to remind everyone there not gay.

Either way, you do things your way and I do them mine. Its all just prefrence. I sound like a salty old man, but Im really not as complacent towards women as im coming across. Its just weird to explain.

Agreed. It's perfectly fine to appreciate an attractive female as she passes by, but there's no point in having to stop whatever you're doing. But, hey, that's the way our society seems to be today. If you don't take as much time as you can to check girls out, you must not be attracted to them.
