First off, please read the sig limits here.

There we go, ask for it here! Like I said before, anyone looking for some new set, or even old set they lost when the place was wiped out can try their luck here. Anyone that has Photoshop skills AND some free time can help out. As for lost av/sigs, anyone who has them can also help out.

As for long lists of rules, nothing comes to my mind right now except for:

RULES

Rule 1:
It would be best if an image or image source is provided along with your request so the user can get exactly the image they want. We may know how to manipulate images, but we might not be able to find suitable images itself.

Rule 2:
Try to be specific.
Bad example:
What is this now.

Good example: Demanding is good, but please consider that sig makers' abilities have limitations, and may not be able to fulfil every single condition.

Rule 3:
PLEASE respect the work of the sig makers. They used their time and effort to create an av/sig for you so don't; I repeat; DO NOT discard the set after a day or so (unless there are special reasons). Doing so will only lead to anger the sig makers and you can forget about requesting for anything here.

Rule 4:
No stealing of avatars and signatures. If an av/sig is made specifically for user A because he asked for it, others should never use it without asking for permission for either the owner or the creater depending on circumstances.

Rule 5:
Due to SSJ3 AKA Son of Wiseness constantly breaking the TCC's Request thread rules, I hereby officially announce that no one should make an avatar or a sig for him. He broke Rule 4 and 5 countless times before. Furthermore, he said he knows how to make his own avatars, so let's allow him to make his own.

Since he is already banned, this rule should be set as an example on how you should behave around the forums. This rule will act upon any sign of possible similiar events.

Rule 6: (Not exactly a rule, but a suggestion)
If there is a particular sig style that you like, please PM the artist responsible for that style. Most of the regulars here have unique sig styles of their own, so there are quite some variety. It's not definite, but those who make requests here are taken as more of the mainstream requests and any artists that wants to take on the requests will make them. The individual styles can be viewed with the many samples on the thread.

As for my style, you can check them out from the stuff I've made. I'd also like to add that I can immitate everyone's style here except BIGWORM's rendered BGs. If there are particular requests concerning other sig creator's style that you want, but the sig creators themselves don't have time, I can take over.

By PMing the particular artists, both of you can work on more details there.

I'm stating this because some of the artists here can't be on a lookout of this thread all the time, and might miss a request.

I'm hoping for some sort of signature that has a collaboration of different pictures of the band, the proper word for which escapes me at the moment. Perhaps, on top of this ensemble image, could be some quote of theirs or the band name. Something like maybe:

"The car's on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel..."
or
"When you die, there will be nothing left of you but the God-man, the God-woman, the Heavenly man, the Heavenly woman, the Heavenly child..."

I would like an avatar and signature combo centering around Fight Club. My old set was set in the scene where the narrator is going on about the Ikea nesting instinct. The avatar had him sitting on the toilet with a catalogue and his phone. The avatar was him walking through all the ikea ads floating around his apartment.

Having found a decent avatar for the time being (I'll probably find a better picture in a few months) I'd like to change my request to a picture of the Dark Phlogus to go in my signature. I finally have the signature text finished that's supposed to go with it. {hopes that plan won't be too many words}

Haha, do you really think so? I spent, including search time for the images, at most 10 minutes on it. A couple quick cuts, add a few effects, and here we are!

As for me working on combos in here, I really only like making combos which I know a little bit about. That basically limits me to mainstream media. So if you're ever in the need of an extra helper around here, and simple designs are ok, hit me up with a PM.

Oh man this is FUCKING AWESOME! A 20 kb avatar limit so I can't upload my 20.4 KB avatar, and instead have to request and wait for someone to do it while looking at everyone elses godawful avatars from those loathsome anime things that will eventually populate the list of default ones.

Thanks! They're both fine (I'm gonna use the first sig by the way), but I jusy wanted to ask what episode are they from? I've seen all of seasons 1-3, and I have season 4 on DVD waiting to be watched, but I don't remember those scenes.

It's from an episode in Season 5 called "Lewis Needs a Kidney". In the scene in the combo, Larry's car broke down and he needed something to eat while waiting for AAA to come. He went to the Jack In The Box across the street only to find he couldn't get inside and all that was open was the drive-thru lane. So, Larry did the only logical thing and proceeded to walk through the drive-thru lane.

Alright, thanks. That sounds hilarious, so I hope they hurry up and release season 5 on DVD so I can watch it already.

I also made a request on page one - I wasn't clear enough the first time, and I got some results (thanks again) that weren't what I had in mind. I corrected this later, asking for a collage. You'll find it.

Please, be patient for I'm sure we all have busy schedules.

Collages aren't a point, click and crop job, to get an effective/good looking collage takes time, hell, any avatar and sig combo will take time.

So just be patient.

I know collages aren't easy, but I was just making sure that my request was, in fact, duly noted. I'm a patient guy, and the work that comes out of this thread has always been first-rate.

I'll resume my usual anticipatory waiting. I can't wait to see how this comes out!

I usually prefer it when someone posts some pictures because, unless its very obvious like Goku, I'm not going to go picture hunting.

That's kind of the problem, though. I don't really need anything fancy done with the picture. I just need the picture. I've failed in my attempts to find one. I thought maybe someone else might have a bit more luck or have better knowledge as to where to go for these things.

Alright guys, this is embarassing to even post here, but I'm looking for a long term combo.

The theme is ESP Galuda(gallery) and I think it would look good if one of those characters was properly sized, had a shadow like Inherit's, and was appropriately matched with an avatar.

I don't think the avatar matches properly.. if you look at this you'll see what I mean. The empty transparency of the image should be grey, not blue. Can you fix this?

well I didn,t put the grey font mainly because it's ugly XD so I keep the blue font and anyway, there's still a border around avatar so for me I think it still look good

but if you still want it, here I done tow more version, one with the gray font and one with the same blue as the border around the avatar. (you're lucky that I had saved the .psd file of the ava because I didn't feel like starting over XD)

With Kingdom Hearts 2 merely a week away, I feel now is the time to request a KH2-themed av/sig.

I have a specific character in mind, and it's Mickey. Hooded Mickey, in fact. For anyone with the ability to take decent screenshots of the game, I would like a pic of Mickey (with hood on) that would make a good avatar. I suppose the artwork from the game cover would suffice, but if there's a good in-game shot that can do the trick, I would like that.

As for the sig, I suppose whatever looks good in a wideshot. I prefer any pic that has him in action (anything that has him with a keyblade, ready to strike, etc). Thanks in advance.

Logo of shadow hearts 3 would be cool, and please make it blend it with the color of the background of gamingforce.

I tried looking for a logo and I can't find a big enugh on for a banner. they're all small or don't have a white border around them. If I use the ones without the white border....it won't look right with the forum colors because the blue text in the logo sort of sink in to the background to much....so if you know of a big enough logo with the border around it....I would really appriciate it....If not....do you have any other ideas for the banner?

Hey, guys, RGB Month is almost done! And you know what that means - new avatars and signatures! I'm getting my request in before the rush.

I made a request back on page 1, I believe, in which I specified my desire for a Godspeed You! Black Emperor Sig/Av theme, and I've had time to refine my request a bit. I'd like the signature portion to be a collage of various pictures of the band, which can be found at this location. Two pictures in particular that I'd like included would be a picutre of the whole band playing/setting up, such as this picture or this, and one of Efrim playing his guitar with a screwdriver, such as this picture. The signature may or may not include the band name, though it probably ought to, and if you have a bit of time on your hands, could you photoshop in this piece of text as well?

I'm going to be really picky with this next request but I don't have the time nor the patience to animate it myself and it gives you a chance to work with sprite animation.

After my current avatar and signature theme (which will go on for a week or two), I plan to have an animated avatar and signature. If someone could use the sprite sheet I have included (shadow the hedgehog from sonic Battle) and use it to make me an animated avatar and signature, I would be thankfull.

I would like to have the avatar begin with an error icon. Shadow would come in from the right and look up at the icon and then start beating it up. Eventually the icon flies off and explodes off screen. Then Shadow would Jump up outta the way and another error Icon would come in and take the place of the old one. It would be the grey background of the Avatar area of course.

The signature is a bit different. I would like it to basically blend in with the background of a usual post. Shadow would come in from the left and he would look at the blank space. He would then power up and with lightning speed, attack five places and those five places would form my screen name.
He would return to his original spot and then look at the letters for a few seconds before powering up again and speeding away towards the right taking the letters with him. I would like both of them to be on a continous loop if possible.

I would really appreciate the person who did this for me and I would like to thank you for listening to my request.

lol why you didn't ask me first XD I always work with a transparent background and add the blue background just before saving the sig because of the 50kb limit in this forum.

but the only way to make the background be transparent and still kep a good quality, is to save them in .png but the file size is bigger...

that was the best stock I could come up with. I made it blurred on the right side on purpose, though.

blur ain't too bad. stocks for guilty gear are hard to come across these days, I used to have a big stock folder with alot, but not on this terminal. you thought of duping the layer and setting it to overlay or something, then blurring it slightly? that usually has a good effect o.o well, hides stock quality anyway

I usually don't dupe my layers, just on the stock layer, I gaussian blur to 1.5 > edit > Fade Gau. Blur > Overlay

that ones a slight better, but I still prefer this one because the stocks smaller. I might use that one though, the more I look it makes the other one pale in comparison. o.o

you can't makethese transparent here because of the dig limit, for that you have to make a .png which is more then what is allowed on this form or in gift which in most case look very ugly... so to make transparnt we fake it by puting a blue background, the same blue as the forum background so you can't (or almost can't ) see the difference...

thats because you have it transparent and its a gif, if it was png it might work fine, but use teh gff background and it should be fine

Not really a request, but I saw some of the pictures that use transparencies in this thread are .jpg/.jpeg format. I used to think only .gif (and after getting Firefox) and .png pictures could have transparencies. How do you do it? I tried doing it in Paint Shop Pro (setting a palette transparency color), and the transparency turns out fine when it's still in the program, but when I save it and upload it, it never turns out transparent. Just loaded up this page in Internet Explorer and it even shows the transparency for the .jpg files, wow. I never knew. Tell me your secrets, please. Even when I save a transparent .jpg from here and load it onto Paint Shop Pro (version 7) and doesn't even show the transparency, boo.

Here's the trick:

1) Save the sig I made up there, open it with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and you'll understand.
or
2) Right click, copy URL, paste URL on IE to get to the source and you'll understand.
or
3) Quote me. See the color code? Sorry, I'm feeling a little playful today ~_^

Oh snap... I used to remember back in the day every other post would alternate between background colors. One was a lighter blue than the background of the site currently, so if your post landed on the other shade of blue, it wouldn't have the illusion of being transparent, lol. I guess I haven't paid attention to all the changes that have taken place here. So .jpg still can't be transparent, only .gif and .png?

I would like to request a Dream Theater Avatar and Signature. For the avatar, simply a picture of John Petrucci Playing the guitar would suffice, as mentioned in the preceding page, and for the sig, a colourful banner saying Dream Theater as well as J-Man would Rock. Hope you get around to it.

You could upload the PSD file of however you want the finalized sig to look like, with layers of the original image included and I'll tweak it instead. Since you do know how to make sigs, it's easier for me to adjust what you want than to make something that you may not like as much.

With the game a week away, I would like to request an AV/Sig for Final Fantasy XII. While normally I like to make my own FF sets, I don't want to go on an image hunt for fear of spoilers.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone would be able to make me a Sin City themed avatar/sig combo? I don't really care about what pictures go where or whatever, but it would be super cool if the signature could say "Divest" in the Sin City font, instead of the movie title.

Okay, I've tried for a few days to muddle through this on my own, and I've gotten completely stuck.

I've been trying to create a Phoenix Wright themed avatar and sig. For the avatar, I'd planned on having this image:

With that, I'd add in the background from the game (a combination of these two images, the bench and the background) and crop it to 105x150.

For the sig, I'd have Godot from Phoenix Wright 3 have a cup of coffee delivered to him, smell it, take a sip, then chuck it, a combination of these three images, plus a fourth that I couldn't find an animation for, but was only on a sprite sheet I managed to grab (included as an attachment). Same background as the avatar, only reversed (the background and the bench.

The problem comes with execution. The farthest I got with my "leet" (read: utterly fucking terribad) photoshop skill was getting the defense and prosecutor's bench added to their respective backgrounds. I couldn't figure out how to keep poor Phoenix from being overwritten by the background I copied into it, and when I even tried to copy the throwing animation from the sprite sheet, I wound up with blue splotches from the sheet's background, or Godot's hair being clipped off (Some smart selector tool. :().

Basically, I've got everything set. I just need somebody to animate the images and get them cropped/compressed (if need be) to GFF specs.

I've included the sprite sheets for both Phoenix and Godot, if it's any help. :eagletear:

If anybody does this for me I will love them forever. For srs.

I have a request for an avatar. Unfortunately my idea is so new, so amazing, and so revolutionary that no base picture for this could possibly exist anywhere in this universe, or perhaps some other universe which may be in fact parallel to this one, or maybe even perpendicular. I grew up using psp and have yet to fully learn the other 95% of adobe .. I have a picture I am looking for a very specific edit done. Its not exactly a sig ( I can make my own) but something that might be simple to the aveage adobe user.. Is that something I could make a thread to request it?
