Well you just blocked the armors from coming into our room, but unless one of us decides to walk through your square and into the other room you're the only one who can do any melee (and we all pretty much melee even shin when he really shouldn't).

You've also placed yourself so that at a minimum you're in a two on one unless someone else moves up. Plus likely ranged attacks from the brain (since its unlikely its a melee machine). Plus more if the armors happen to have reach (hopefully not).

Since Garr mentioned it earlier, I am curious on the altar jumping possibilities. Coated in blood and trecherous? Low enough for an easy jump? Crouching if they get on it?

The defensive stance gives him a higher AC and lets him shift whenever an attack misses him, so that seems to solve both the danger and the obstruction problems at once.

(not that there is an obstruction except for noobs who don't know what the W key is for yeah you heard me)

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Mar 25, 2009 05:13 AM

Kick him out the way, he won't mind.

The unmovable stubborn Mar 26, 2009 04:53 AM

Also, just so you know, it's generally more helpful to use one of your at-will abilities rather than just doing a basic attack; there's no limit to the at-wills at all. The basic attack only really comes in for attacks of opportunity or knk ordering you to hit something because he's afraid to do it himself.

Sorry man in my defense it was 5:30 AM :(

knkwzrd Mar 26, 2009 11:48 PM

Would standing in P26 give me a clear fireball shot to L22, for if that brain moves a little closer?

The unmovable stubborn Mar 27, 2009 12:16 AM

It doesn't look like there's any way of you hitting L22, let alone from P26. Too may corners in the way.

No. Hard Pass. Mar 29, 2009 04:13 PM

So did Garr manage to be successful? I want to know where to aim my dwarf's ire.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Mar 31, 2009 04:36 AM

So... Brains in jars huh... They sure do take a while to decide on their move...

The unmovable stubborn Mar 31, 2009 11:54 AM

Must have been the brain of a dwarf.

Zergrinch Mar 31, 2009 12:03 PM

It is so sad that Brigid's untimely death brought the game to a screeching halt. Come on folks, it's just a silly little brain!

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Mar 31, 2009 01:09 PM

I suspect it's SAUS that's the distraction more than the loss of Brigid. Deni's not been around so much lately either for some reason and Pang's connection seems less than reliable of late. Things will pick up again soon enough I'm sure.

Little Brenty Brent Brent Mar 31, 2009 01:20 PM

I can appreciate wanting to play with a new toy, Zerg, but you've already managed to make that shit get old.

Zergrinch Mar 31, 2009 07:30 PM

Come now diss, it's entirely appropriate for GFF's biggest traditional holiday!

The unmovable stubborn Mar 31, 2009 07:54 PM

Ahahaha! But do you know what would be even funnier

If you stopped doing that

immediately

The unmovable stubborn Mar 31, 2009 11:18 PM

Having people do their own rolls is highly encouraged and makes things easier for me, so please do continue by all means.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 2, 2009 06:29 AM

So whose stupid idea was it to "Warm up on some weak enemies" before we took on the vampire then?

The unmovable stubborn Apr 2, 2009 03:50 PM

But they are weak! The armors are actually a level below you!

Fight woulda been over by now if not for the insistence of certain folks on standin' around buffing their nails.
