well I finished all configuring my ps3 like I want it and will wait a little before downloading a demo (it take still some time to download them XD)

only thing that could bothers me is that the ps3 seem hot right now... I just hope it will not cause over-heating problem...

For the record, if I couldn't reserve this system ahead of time like I did, I absolutely would never camp out like these other people. If you have the time and dedication to do something like that (even if your chances are still slim), then I admire your strong will as much I am certain that I don't have it.

I had one reserved so I didn't had to wait in line XD anyway there was no line so I just enter paid and return home with my new ps3 XD

but yeah I would probably not have camped out for it...

I won't lie; a part of me feels pretty proud and smug that I managed to nab a system without putting up with what most of the other people are going through, and I also feel pretty smug being one of an extremely few who owns the system now (I feel like Marty when he went to the future to nab that sports almanac and took it back to the past).

But I do feel bad for the people who just wanted to buy this system to actually keep and play it. I feel bad for the GS employee who sold me the system today, mentioning how he was pissed that his reserve was canceled. I'm truly grateful that the simplest option worked out for me, and grateful to my sister for reserving it for me while I was at work.

The real thing I wanted to see is the Riots for the PS3. I'm so gonna take a day off of work to go see the riots at Best Buy etc.. Yeah, I might get one not on release date, but maybe later on when the fire dies down.

Hopefully the reports of 100k units each week hold true. I remember reading a similar claim for the PS2, but I don't remember if they actually held that promise. I really want these poor bastards to be able to buy a system soon, if only so I'll have more competition online. I have a feeling I'll be lucky to find even 5 people to play with in Resistence. :/

and I tried some ps2 game and I have no problem with them, I even tried DMC1 that i heard didn't worked on the JP ps3 but it seem to work well with my ps3.

there was not suppose to be some enhancing feature for ps2 game? but I sure didn't find them and the ps2 game play almost exactly like on a ps2... I hope they will had this in a future update ^^

well I tried with Burnout 3 and even if in the network configuration setting it said that my connection is fine, the game doesn't seem to recognize that there's a network profile save on the "internal ps2 memory card" but I didn't really tried to search how to resolve it, I'm way to exited to check every feature that this machine has XD

I heard FFXI wont work on the PS3. But only because of how it uses the PS2 harddrive. Which makes it incompatible with the PS3. Though, SE or Sony are supose to fix that..

soldier: how do you feel about the L2/R2 "trigger" button... not that I don't like trigger button, but those seem kind of weird to use, you kind of need to push hard on them...well I'll see when I'll play a game that use them often

edit: I just tried Xenogears and it work perfectly, but it seems they took out the possibility of the ps2 to make texture look better :\ it's again maybe me that didn't look hard enough or it will be again in another update XD
