Thanks for spoiling that for me, fucker. I just started season 2.

No, no, no. You misunderstand.
The reference to Desmond means, "it looks like the actor got off the island and went to L.A. to meet Jack Bauer," not "in the latest episode of Lost, this is what happened."

Aha, I was so angry for a minute. I just go to the episode where

Spoiler:
Desmond runs off after Locke and Jack go in
so I wasn't really sure what went on >_>

Spoiler:
Tony is alive.

Anyway, HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I had to take my pants off as I bore witness to what was without a doubt the hugest explosion ever.

Pantsless and watching 24. Best thing ever?

Rockgamer Mar 27, 2006 10:04 PM

Jack Bauer is the greatest man alive. Nothing more to say.

jouhou Mar 27, 2006 10:12 PM

This episode's cliff hanger isn't as good as the past ones but the previews for next week look good.
What did they inject into Audre? Isn't is just truth serum?

Somehow I doubt that. 'The guy with the needles' has been a mainstay in the series, and everybody seems to be scared of him. This, along with the fact that everybody he encounters always winds up in pain, makes me believe that it's more than just truth serum (besides, Tony died from one of his needles, which also makes it look like more than just truth serum).

It's classic 24 for once. The whole "Is Jack alive?" thing. It would've been funny if, in the previews, they started with the question: Did Jack survive? And then 6 seconds later they show him beating the living crap out of the vice president or something.

Jan Mar 27, 2006 10:23 PM

Wow. I was like, no way is the gas gonna be released before the end of the show.
Then I was like no way is that c4 gonna go off before the end.
Then I was like...

Anyway. Damn good show! = D

AC1 Mar 27, 2006 10:26 PM

Curtis and Jack owning those goons simultaneously was priceless!

That new chick...and that Homeland jerk...is the new Kyle Singer and Debbie. Seriously. Chloe still owns.

Wayne Palmer...please just be unconscious.

Aaron Pierce is STILL bad-ass. I long for the day that he, Jack and Curtis can team up together.

Jack is going to be Raiden before the day is over. Tasered 4x -including twice in this day - equals B,B,F pwnage. Damn...

Anyhow, good episode by the end. I knew we were going to wrap up this villain and go onto Henderson.

Spoiler:
So, for next week, it looks like that Asian woman will reveal that there is another man "behind EVERYTHING." Too bad I already figured out who it is.

Press for my theory:
Spoiler:
Mike Novick.
Yeah, that's right. AND I bet he killed Walt Cummings and made it look like a suicide. This guy is probably the head of the "patriots" who are trying to make America come out on top.

Plus, it would make sense that Palmer knew about it, since he knew Mike.

Jan Mar 27, 2006 11:03 PM

Also. HOLY FUCK that was wierd when that new girl was starting to freak out about getting her shoulder touched. I hope they follow up on this. I just found it like SO odd.

Rockgamer Mar 27, 2006 11:05 PM

Yeah, I just thought that guy was a real prick at first, but now it seems like that lady is a crazy bitch.

Jan Mar 27, 2006 11:08 PM

Nah. I still think he is a prick. He was a prick even before she arrived so. :P

nuttyturnip Mar 27, 2006 11:11 PM

Sexual harrassment lady OWNS. I hope she has a major freakout next week.

Dead "now" but he shall rise. So, my bad, replace "is" with "will be".

Oh, and I like your theory. The people I was watching it with came up with the same one. Good stuff.

True, I forgot about that. But still, crazy sexual harassment lady is way worst than him.

lol, yeah but I hope Buchanan doesn't get chewed out much, I like him.

Hantei Mar 28, 2006 01:19 AM

Ohh, nice cliff hanger at the end. I actually thought Jack would have dragged his body in and step on the gas.

Yea and "sexual harassment" lady is fucked up. I can see Buchanan being hit with that ticking time bomb and Karen (homeland security lady) taking advantage of it.

Also, what was up with Collette's cuffs? Looks like she was about to break loose from them.

Ahh, and I can't wait to see how deep Henderson is on this. Oh and the soundtrack for this episode was particularly good this time.

Rollins Mar 28, 2006 01:51 AM

Probably just wanted to show that Collette was idling her time being nervous and knew in the back of her mind that Jack would be back to get her. In any case, any breakout she was planning didn't really matter.

Looks like the beginning of a new story arc with Henderson as the main bad guy. I knew it was too well-planned for a simple "we'll attack America just because you didn't let us attack Russia" plan.

Nah, Jack is a freaking beast and he will rise from the dead until he gets revenge on Henderson.
Actually, I didn't like the songs played in this episode, especially the one during the chopper drop off.

RacinReaver Mar 28, 2006 12:18 PM

Does anyone else want to see Heller come back and kick the shit out of some terrorists this season?

Also, I'm not sure how pissed off he would have been at Audrey getting interrogated. Just think of what he did to his son last season.

Spoiler:
Also, jazz, nice theory. It would give a good reason why Palmer wanted to talk to Aaron without Novick knowing about it.

Also, lollin' at sexual harrassment girl's chemistry knowledge. I guess Caltech teaches that in their anti-terrorism course.

Mobius One Mar 28, 2006 02:48 PM

Spoiler:
Jack dies

Spoiler:
but it wasn't really Jack, it was his evil twin Liquid

So that was all of the canisters right? The terrorists don't have any more?

Also, do they have to reiterate the whole plot every episode? That's certainly got to be annoying while watching the DVD. Every 5 minutes: "The terrorists have 19 canisters of Syntox gas! ZOMG!"

Grundlefield Earth Mar 28, 2006 04:30 PM

See I was talking about villains earlier in this thread when the beginning of season 5 was going and how the guy before Bierko wasn't a REAL villain compared to the guys earlier like the drazens, Peter Kingsley, Gaines and even Saunders. However, no one will be as great as Nina Meyers. Anyways, Bierko wasn't a true villain either, but he was better then the earlier guy. Although Henderson is definitely a great villain! Looking forward to seeing what happens. Season 5 could turn out to be near the top seasons if not the top one, if it keeps going this way.

Acro-nym Mar 28, 2006 05:48 PM

That has to go to be one of the greatest explosions I have ever seen on television. And it wasn't just one explosion, really. It was several miniature explosions culminating in the explosion of the main tank. Nice.

Do we really need more tension in CTU? Why can't there be more people, like Buchanan, who are normal? Stupid weird new girl...

Spoiler:
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I honestly believe the VP is on this thing. He practically setup the people of Los Angeles to die. It was through his plan that the terrorists could've hit... what did Bierko say? Two hundred thousand? In any case, this could also explain why Wayne wants his arrival to be a secret. The VP, I forget his name at this moment, would have quite a bit to gain from this. I mean, if Logan loses power, who takes his place?
