For some reason that reminds me of one of those flashbacks in Ruroni Kenshin. The coloring seems like the same as when they have night scenes, but I'm probably totally wrong on this.

oh, I think it's Hikaru no GO. When they have the flashback of Sai vs this other guy fighting to decide who should be the lord's teacher and everyone is watching the game.

Newp, it isn't Hikaru no Go either. This show was aired during the late 90s.

My guess would be Gasaraki. It aired in 98 and animation seems consistent. Haven't seen Gasaraki though, so I'm not sure.

looks like this thread is getting pretty dead so here's a hint. this sample is from the 2nd season out of 4 seasons, the newest being released this year.

UFO Princess Valkyrie, I'm pretty sure of it. If not mistaken, that's from the first episode, pretty much the only one I saw.

The scenery is quite remarkable though, pretty, very colorful.

The design on the helmet should help to figure it out. Sometimes Acer puts in a screenshot that makes you look at something like that to figure it out! :D

LOL, isn't that from School Rumble? Imadori is like a fan of that kids show, kinda like power rangers, and that's one of the fighters, a truck driver.

That looks like Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG. That should be cyberspace/internet. The disc like things inside the ball should be like files or the firewall, I can't remember.

[Off Topic] And yeah~ I think there's two soundtracks for the anime - catalogue number VICL-795 and VICL-796 ^^. I mean, there's more albums than just that, but I think those are the only soundtracks for the anime ^^.

I'm split between two different ones but I think it's Noein. That crazy cg quantum computer that the things in the diver suits use.
