I just uploaded Dragon Ash's "Harvest". This is my first time doing this. I hope you like it.

wvlfpvp May 22, 2006 07:27 PM

So . . . would it be a good or a bad idea for me to up the Drag-On Dragoon OSTs? I mean, they're the most challenging and brutal VGM albums I've heard in a long goddamn time, and they're (almost) orchestral.

So . . . yes or no?

Paco May 22, 2006 09:42 PM

By all means, bro. Expose away. :D

Schadenfreude May 26, 2006 11:35 PM

Urgggg.

The Melt-Banana uploads are postponed indefinitely due to the fact that they're on a CDR (as mp3s) and my CD drive suddenly decides to stop reading CDs today.

Also, I'll be away from home come Monday (Sunday for most of you) and won't be back until the next Monday/Sunday at the earliest.

Plug 4 May 27, 2006 10:28 AM

alright..I uploaded cunninlynguists for you crackas!

Mucknuggle May 27, 2006 04:49 PM

That Sarah Blasko album is really good. I forget who uploaded it, but thanks! It's been a staple of mine over the past three weeks.

Seconded. :)

My friend had actually lent me this CD a while ago. At first, I wasn't too interested at all, but after a couple listens, I really started to enjoy it. My favorite songs include, "All Coming Back" (although I still don't like the beginning), "Beautiful Secrets," "Always Worth It," "At Your Best," "Perfect Now," and "Sweet November."

Anyways, I've been listening to that album for a while. It's awesome! I really love Blasko's voice.

Paco May 29, 2006 04:00 AM

Props on that Cunninglynguists upload. Now to follow up on the proper hip-hop propaganda I give you guys 3 quite different hip-hop masterpieces. The first, a shining jewel of hip-hop and latin beats, the second, a more mainstream hip-hop album that's still not quite as listened as we'd like and the third, a dark slice of life hailing from the streets of Harlem NY.

You hip-hop heads will love them. Trust me on this.

Arkhangelsk May 29, 2006 06:27 AM

Since I said I would like....6 months ago...I uploaded my two Cloroform albums (DeconStructed and All-Scars. They're quite good, and I hope some of you will check them out at least! I only uploaded their old stuff, because the newer albums are a bit different from where they came from. Still good -- but a different kind of good.

Anyhow, enjoy (please!).

EDIT::

Merv, that Jackdaw is really awesome! Although my interest in celtic rock/punk has waned over the last couple years, I still enjoy hearing new bands in that vein. And Encephalon, thanks for the Ozomatli. It's quite wonderful :).
Eleo did not gay up the thread, he made it even better! Piazzolla is one of the best things to happen to modern classical music, and Bari sax is SEX. Thanks for uploading it (esp. to your own webspace)!

Wall Feces May 30, 2006 11:05 PM

Just uploaded four Cave In albums. I wrote a nice little description of the band's musical career and then provided AMG reviews of each. All of them are worth checking out!

Iwata May 31, 2006 04:31 PM

Biosphere/DeathProd - Nordheim Transformed.

I got around to uploading a speedcore album (about fucking time K) conviently placed in this spoiler tag:

Spoiler:
Speedcore Dandy XXX/ Speedcore (year Unknown)

*Album Art unavailable*

face_is
innocent
speedcoredandy
crash
sin
h.c.swindle
jampin'_jap_crash
reaf
komoneverybody
37 dicks
badboy
tokyostylespeedcore

(I was suprised to find this album on a 4chan tracker a while back)

A 12 track album by m1dy, an artist from Sharpnel sound. This album mostly takes soundbytes from various movies and ect, but still an enjoyable album for people who are into the genre.

The album can be gotten here

I feel like posting it here because I dont feel like I did the album justice by the shitty review (so I suppose its up for grabs for whoever wants to review it).

el jacko Jun 2, 2006 11:45 PM

Ahh, now that I'm done with my schoolwork, I can start uploading again.

Someone requested some Belle & Sebastian, anyone else here interested in it?

Admiral Amara Jun 2, 2006 11:51 PM

el jacko - Yes, rather. I'd like to actually hear this group, I've heard their names around recently (er, last few months).

Iwata - I can't wait! More weird and intersting stuff.

General ATTN (esp. Capo) - I bought Love - Forever Changes for somebody in real life recently. I'm play MEC to a friend in real life, how cool is that?

Plug 4 Jun 4, 2006 10:17 AM

Haha. Awesome. How did he like it?

Admiral Amara Jun 4, 2006 11:25 AM

He described it as "rather psychadelic" and agreed that it had an "organic, natural flow". I'm giving him a little more time, until Iwata time I ask for more of a response. I work with the guy, I don't get to talk to him much these days.

In case you missed it, I already uploaded one of their albums here. I think it's their best work, personally. I'm thinking of uploading their older singles/EPs, for now.

This is some GREAT SHIT man. Hip hop without the retarded songwriting - SOLD! Thanks for an awesome upload.

Paco Jun 6, 2006 07:51 PM

If you liked that, grab some Aesop Rock and Cannibal Ox, nigga. :p

YO PITTSBURGH MIKE HERE Jun 6, 2006 10:00 PM

And may I recommend Float as the starting point on your Aesop Rock journey?

wvlfpvp Jun 7, 2006 11:21 AM

Uploaded some VGM, the Drag-On Dragoon soundtracks.

Jesus Christ, this shit is creepy.

Skexis Jun 7, 2006 11:26 AM

I'll be upping Into Eternity as soon as I get it ripped, and I'll probably also put up the Dredg album Leitmotif, since it didn't make it with the others when they were put up.

I was considering Hurt, as well. They're not on the radio yet, but they're not totally obscure, either, and the similarities to Tool will earn them a few fans around here, I think.

Wall Feces Jun 7, 2006 06:41 PM

Just uploaded a great world/techno disc for you guys. It's a CD known as Serart. Click for my overview and the download link!
