Well, apparently the Masterlock wasn't fireproof. (looool) Chris Masters is gone.

Slash Nov 8, 2007 02:57 PM

well..considering this is what...his 3rd time violating the policy?

mortis Nov 8, 2007 05:42 PM

Actually slightly a shame as he had a slightly interesting feud with CHuck Palumbo going. I was just thinking though that he was one strike away from getting canned. Now, that won't ever happen (or did it already?).

Winter Storm Nov 8, 2007 11:07 PM

I'm pretty sure the "mystery" partner, Sting has, is none other than Booker T. Two organizations, and is a multi-time world champion.

Spoiler:
Because it is not Scott Hall.

Oh and I expect to see Chris Masters appear on TNA too.

And Big Pappa Steroids will always be my favorite trash talker.

mortis Nov 9, 2007 05:33 AM

Hm, from Trips to Angle, not a bad change.

Anyway, he really is the only logical choice at this time (and probably was that world champion they had promised last month at their PPV).

Additional Spam:
Well, if there was any doubt that Booker T was the mystery opponent, that doubt was squashed with this (copied from WrestleView):

Near the end, when Sting comes out, there is a flash for a brief minute of a website "http://www.11t11n07a.com/" in reverse. I stopped the video, and copied the web address down. I went to that website, and it was a jigsaw puzzle of sorts and when you finish it, you see the name Huffman in reverse in Graffiti. To the left of the solved puzzle, there is a picture of Sting. Based on this, I am assuming that this is in reference to Sting's mystery partner at TNA's Genesis is none other then Booker T, as anyone may know his last name is Huffman.

Winter Storm Nov 9, 2007 07:41 PM

Now for some guess work on why it could be him.

-Before Angle left, he was fueding with Booker T and Mark Henry
-Lets not forget the big plot revolving around Sharmell.

"This is a guy you worked with. A guy you rubbed the wrong way"

ANNND I don't see Booker T as TNA material honestly.

It could also be Ric Flair, but hes still in "negotiation"(just quit man)

-Flair and Angle have wrestled on numerous occasions. Trying to determine who is the true master mat technition. Other than Hogan, and Booker T, Flair is the last guy(as far as my memory serves) with WORLD championchips multiple times on both companies.

This could even be a plot twist at Genesis. It might not be either one of them.

mortis Nov 9, 2007 07:50 PM

Wait...wait, I got it! Everyone is thinking of Huffman because it's Booker T's last name, right? Well, there is ANOTHER person whose last name is Huffman (I should know, because they talked about him a great deal when he made it into the WWE). Now...okay, so he hasn't had a world championship, but he HAS had some WWE gold. He also has had matches with Raven, Undertaker, Shelton Benjamin, Triple H, among others, which he holds victories over several. Yes my friends...the man who will team will Sting is none other than...

Mr. Huffman

Mr. Maven Huffman.

PLOT TWIST!!!

Winter Storm Nov 9, 2007 07:53 PM

The Maven that dissappeared years ago? He was a..IC champ once??

mortis Nov 9, 2007 08:08 PM

Actually, hardcore champion. But he won it! From Taker no less! And then he lost it! To Raven no less!

*cough*

Like I said...PLOT TWIST!!!

Winter Storm Nov 9, 2007 08:09 PM

Ok man I get it =P.

Still though >_> <_< he better return with his old harlem gimmick.

Slash Nov 9, 2007 08:28 PM

LoL Lets see..former champions

Just so TNA can sucker us into thinking it'll be someone big...

Lesnar, Goldberg, Bret Hart, David Arquette ~LAWL~

mortis Nov 9, 2007 10:13 PM

And in some surprises, but bad ones (possibly), CW Anderon and Vader both have retired. Anderson most likely due to constantly being told 'you have the best match on the card but don't have the main event look'. Vader has retired probably due to his age (just turned 50) and injury (was wanting to have a hip replacement).

man it took me like a damn hour to piece that shit together. All because I didn't know the mouse wheel turned the pieces around, it was starting to piss me off. :><:

Winter Storm Nov 10, 2007 02:10 AM

We know Vader was never coming back to the WWE after falling on his butt. harhar

L O L @ Cena being accused of using steroids. I'm sorry but that takes the cake on the whole "beat a man while hes down" scenario.

dagget Nov 10, 2007 03:04 AM

What slays me is the whole "You can't prove that I did take steroids" line. It was full of lawl. I wonder if he comes back, he'll be a jobber to all.

YouTube Video

Yeah I want THAT Cena to come back and not Mr. Marine.

Winter Storm Nov 10, 2007 11:48 AM

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! "Oh bro close your mouth, you have the breath of 1,000 asses".

HOLY COW.

Ok that must have been when the writers were awesome.

Slash Nov 10, 2007 01:24 PM

Actually I think Cena wrote all that stuff himself

Slash Nov 12, 2007 01:28 AM

Spoiler:
So I guess TNA gets more of WWE's released wrestlers. Probably see Masters there soon...good god...TNA has turned into crap IMO. I mean what happened to the days of showcasing like AJ Styles by himself with out Tomko or Christian. I applaud TNA for giving the title shot to Kaz instead of Cage.

Spoiler:
Booker T in TNA is good...I might actually watch it as long as he doesn't have that crappy king booker crap

Spoiler:
I take that back...Sharmell came with him

Spoiler:
I take that back again...apparently Stamboli is now in TNA

mortis Nov 12, 2007 06:16 AM

Spoiler:

I SO thought that Style would be making a face turn soon, but he is plugging away well as a heel. I really think Styles would do well with a face turn, but I guess we won't see that until he splits with Tomko. And most likely that won't happen because Tomko has shown face signs first (like his encounter with Robert Roode many weeks back). And on top of that, Cage may be turning face after his surprised staredown at Angle/Tomko/Styles at the end of the PPV.

Oh, and it's Kaz Vs Angle. Wouldn't it be a shocker if Kaz pulled it off somehow?

I still don't forsee why Angle had to pin Sting again. Smarter booking would have had Angle turn on Nash (as he did) and then pin NASH. That way, Sting would save face by not being the one pinned yet again, Booker T would save a bit more face with his debut, and Nash would be able to save face with such a loss because of the surprise pin by Angle. And Angle would have looked super intelligent for taking advantage of the rules to do so...

dagget Nov 12, 2007 02:46 PM

A little interesting tidbit regarding unification of the brand split.

lol. Ratings would go better if Vince stopped being stubborn and just merged them back together. Not to mention traveling may be a bit better for the wrestlers too.

Slash Nov 12, 2007 04:39 PM

Umm...mortis...

Spoiler:
I don't think Angle could actually pin nash with how the match was set up. now if it was a Angle v. Nash v. Sting v. Booker T, THEN Angle could pin Nash.

And McMahon is an idiot...we all know that.

Spoiler:
"- TNAwrestling.com has also learned that Kaz - who beat Christian Cage in the Fight For The Right finals on Sunday - will get his shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship this Thursday night against the Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle!"

Well..nevermind for Kaz winning

DBCE Slayer Nov 12, 2007 05:11 PM

Anyone know what happened to Matt Morgan? I was going through some old magazines that I recently found, and was wondering what happened to him exactly.

Winter Storm Nov 12, 2007 06:26 PM

Matt Morgan is in TNA, and has a much better role. Currently he is Jim Cornetts "enforcer" and is a face.

OH! Forgot all about Genesis.

Ah yea Slash in regards to your comment on AJ Styles, I've been wandering what was so great/hyped about him. If only TNA went prime time a few months sooner. As for..the "bad news" now I dont think I want to watch TNA anymore -.-.

mortis Nov 12, 2007 08:04 PM

Slash....

Spoiler:

I guess I was trying tosee if they would loosely enforce the rules. It was that it was 'a tag match' and the 'person who gets the pinfall is world champ'. It didn't say who could pin who which is why I thought it would have been neat to add a new twist to the ending.

Actually, I thought travelling would be a bit better now. For headliners, no more having to go to house shows for Raw, Smackdown!, etc. Instead, only your brand's house shows.

Maybe the brand split would work if a.) they had interbrand feuds and b.) that weren't forgotton suddenly when big multi-brand PPV's like survivor series comes up.

Damn it...and I was hoping they'd put him back on Raw this Spring. Clearly the Masterpiece was one of my favorites and deserved some gold in his future.
