If the wiki is up to date, then we're still 88 XP short of the level.

:argh:

Also I don't think Brady ever got back to me about his intended ability gains, so that's not expediting matters at all

An interrupt just means it interrupts whatever you're responding to with the attack, ergo, your attack gets priority whatever it is.

Because it's once per encounter it would be a bit silly to automate that.

Sarag Feb 11, 2009 10:35 PM

Oh, I thought it interrupts HIS attack. So I'm all SURPRISE TINYKNIFE and he's all OH SHI which would be why I was thinking it would be automated.

Bradylama Feb 11, 2009 11:13 PM

Ok ok fine, geez

Retrain Weapon Focus: Hammers to Weapon Focus: Picks

Gain Feat: Victor's Confidence

+1 Str, +1 Wis

No. Hard Pass. Feb 11, 2009 11:23 PM

I prop for you finally caving and admitting you want to specialize in picks.

Bradylama Feb 11, 2009 11:31 PM

uh, ok I dunno how this was a big deal

Because you were waffling on what you wanted to do about your weapon specialization like a woman on what shoes to wear a few weeks ago.

I prop for manly decisiveness.

The unmovable stubborn Feb 11, 2009 11:51 PM

(Pang never hands out any picks again, ever)

No. Hard Pass. Feb 11, 2009 11:53 PM

I also, apparently, prop for a dickish sense of humour.

Sarag Feb 12, 2009 12:17 AM

another feat question: is Power Attack at-will or once per encounter or...?

I'm deciding between that and Halfling Agility. I feel like I should take advantage of my beefy str.

The unmovable stubborn Feb 12, 2009 12:23 AM

I guess you'd call it at-will. Anytime you make an attack, you'd decide whether or not it's a Power Attack. So you'd use a Power Attack'd Righteous Brand one turn, and then an un-Powered Brand the next, and so on.

FatsDomino Feb 12, 2009 01:36 AM

How much GP were the doggies carrying? =I

Bradylama Feb 12, 2009 03:45 AM

Speaking personally I've avoided Power Attacks since hitting something is far more important than the +2 damage you get when you DO hit.

The unmovable stubborn Feb 12, 2009 07:16 AM

Hawk, thank you for your temporary service in the Horde. You've been awesome. =D

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Feb 12, 2009 08:59 AM

Can I have those boots please? It would make my Rainbow-esque pop-up attacks that much easier if I could move between cover whilst doing them (i.e. minor to stand up, move, attack, fall over for free).

Scent of a Grundle Feb 12, 2009 09:07 AM

Thank you all for letting me join you in this quest. It's been a blast.

Pang, I'm sorry the kitchen jokes took so long to get to, it took me a while to figure things out.

Seeing as by the time I get to play again I'll probably be a well established member and moderator of GFF, see you all another time. I'll keep watching, it's just too funny to ignore. So long for now.

Sarag Feb 12, 2009 10:37 AM

I guess I'll go with Halfling Agility then. Still want str and wis though. If I want to retrain anything I'll let you know.

Oh, and good job not letting Ewan die, Hawkeye. You had nothing and you still pulled through.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Feb 12, 2009 10:47 AM

Can we not take Ewan with us into the cave to use as a canary and search for traps for us?

Scent of a Grundle Feb 12, 2009 11:06 AM

I think he's had enough zombie fighting for now. His motives were to keep his tavern intact. I'm sure the horde is welcome to stay anytime after he has the place up and running again. Besides, if Pang actually wants to add another PC, there's not going to be room for Ewan in the party anyway.

Being used to search for traps tends to reduce one's life expectancy rather. If there are any traps down there, I'm pretty sure we'll have room for another PC by the time we come back out.

So a natural 20 disease check means I can never get infected again, right? :)

FatsDomino Feb 12, 2009 10:51 PM

I dunno but it almost seems that enduring that amazing delusion and coming out of it refreshed should at least give you an intelligence boost or maybe a big ^5.

Well, you can never get Cemetery Rot again, anyway

It's like chicken pox

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Feb 13, 2009 06:36 AM

I guess we know who'll be leading the charge against the slimey zombies from now on then...

Edit: I rolled a dice for my stealth check but obviously I have no idea what modifiers you might want to apply to that. Do you want us to press the roll button for deliberate skill checks or is that more of a behind-the-screen thing?

Additional Spam:
For those of us who haven't memorised the rulebook, a phantom chasm is what exactly? The players handbook only lists phantom steeds.
