Jack Bauer: Horrible for America's foreign policy.

In any case, another great episode, despite Jack Bauer possibly causing the deaths of thousands of Germans. How many surprises do they throw at us at the end of episodes? Give me a predictable ending at some point, haha.

What are the odds that Theo will come into play later in the day? He did get his own little section of the screen at the end of the episode.

Well, hehe, they BOTH were on Robocop LOL. Behrooz and Dina were in a movie together last year too (don't remember the title) so it looks like 24 is starting a trend or something. :edgartpg:

Logan's more a takeoff on Nixon than Bush. Hell, that whole praying thing was something Nixon actually did with his chief of staff, who was Jewish by the way.

Well in today's episode we discover that Desmond actually escaped the island entirely. I don't know how, but now my guess is that Dharma is part of a larger conspiracy.

Uhh Wrong thread but interesting spoiler info lol

Rollins Mar 21, 2006 10:09 AM

Guy who plays Desmond = Guy who plays Theo (Henry Ian Cusick)

All the big shows are coming together! I mean Palmer resurrected himself to be on "The Unit".

bighunt Mar 21, 2006 12:53 PM

Audrey helping the terrorists???!!!! i hope not, but jesus, these writers come up w/the best plot twists in tv today.

Admiral Amara Mar 21, 2006 12:57 PM

I'm certainly going to watch next week to find out what that's all about... I mean, the preview was all like "TELL ME!" "It's not me, Jack!" "Fine, it's time I choke a bitch!" "Ack!" "Let's start over: TELL ME!" Seeing as I just got into 24 late this season, I actually haven't seen that side of Jack enough (save for shooting Henderson's wife), so I don't quite know what to expect.

Zeo Mar 21, 2006 02:33 PM

Man, you guys buy into the constant cliffhangers too much.

Don't you realize this season is turning into a "HEY LET'S TRY AND SHOCK PEOPLE AT THE END OF EVERY EPISODE" gimmick?

Audrey? Come on, desperate writing or not? It'll end up just being some sort of "mistake" she made. She's not a mole or a bad guy.

Damn this is what i get for posting in the middle of the night. Damn if you weren't right about him being Desmond. Knew he has a familiar look about him. Well his life has certainly taken a turn for the better since living in a hole eating army rations for years lol

Spike Mar 21, 2006 04:35 PM

Man I bet it's going to be something lame like Audrey was working with the DOD on a separate operation to find the terrorist or something stupid like that. I hope they're crazy enough to make her into a baddie, but I have a feeling they won't. And David Palmer's brother getting attacked was so obvious. You could see it in the look of the VP's face when he got the news about the roadblock and when he was let through, you just knew that he was going to be attacked before he got there.

Also, is it just me or is Collette pretty damn hot.

Edit: typo

F U FAGGOT. LEARN TO READ.

"THAT IS NOT A THREAT, THAT'S A FACT BIATCH!

Another cool episode. I like how they keep replaying that new Season 5 track that is reminicent of the Season 1 "Jack Bauer on the Move" track.

I was working from memory, and trying to be funny. I know it's different than that, but I liked my summary more. Either way, I can't wait for the episode.

Acro-nym Mar 21, 2006 06:15 PM

When did Curtis get back? I didn't see him arrive at CTU last episode, but there he was, prepping for a new assignment.

The plot is truly thickening. There are so many things going on that it's almost too hard to keep track. Each and every week I get more and more excited about how it'll all come together.

AC1 Mar 21, 2006 06:16 PM

No posting previews - yours or theirs - ever.

Unless it's in the Spoiler Tag.

Morrigan Mar 21, 2006 08:22 PM

^ I agree.

I don't think the German dude is in such deep shit. When he confronts his German superiors with the leak of his lead on Collette and that he has nothing in return, all he has to say is that he was pwned by Jack Bauer... surely they'll understand he stood no chance. :D

I believe it was House of Sand and Fog. I haven't seen it, but I've wanted to ever since I heard they were both in it.

The thing I can't get past is why are the Homeland Security People so...evil. It seems like whenever any other organization takes control of CTU (like Division in the previous seasons, which makes me wonder why they didn't take over this time), they always have these misguided intentions. Can't one of these groups just want to help out their fellow allies for once?

Season 6: Germany + China vs Jack Bauer.

I believe Jack has killed off more populated places in 24 hours, so we all know who would win this.

Tascar Mar 22, 2006 09:20 PM

Why do I keep thinking they are just going to end this season with everyone dead and the end of the world and then subsequent seasons are just going to be prequels? :cow:

Rockgamer Mar 22, 2006 10:14 PM

I've thought about prequel seasons before, but it seems like it would be a little too late now. All the actors are obviously older now, so it really wouldn't look that good now. They also have the books now to cover stuff that happened before season 1.

Talbain Mar 23, 2006 04:33 PM

I'mg lad Curtis still gives Jack a chance with everyone. How many more times is Jack going to ask Curtis to back off so he can talk to someone?

Keep in mind, Jack did sleeper hold Curtis earlier in the day. He could have just asked, by the looks of it.

RacinReaver Mar 23, 2006 05:28 PM

Was the sleeper hold when Jack slugged him in the face in the car (right after the airport incident) or at another part? I seem to remember it being at a different spot.

Grundlefield Earth Mar 23, 2006 05:48 PM

Yes, after he bashed his face, he then put a sleeper hold on him and subsequently dumped his body =p

nazpyro Mar 23, 2006 06:18 PM

It's okay though, because after that Curtis has his awesome moment, as he threatened to draw his weapon if a guard executed Lynn's command. That guard's life flashed before his eyes. Little did he know he would die of seizure gas.

And, the last season will be the 24-hour battle of Chuck Norris and Jack Bauer. It'll be amazing.

That battle would only be a minute long. The rest of the 23 hours and 59 minutes would consist of a close-up of Chuck Norris's grave, plus commercials. Why lie?
