Nintendo is such a dick. The new update adds icons for all the new DLC characters/tracks, but of course if you pick them, all you get is an ad telling you to wait until November/May. That's like if Cody took pictures of all the food he was going to cook at Meet 2015, then somehow uploaded them to our computers as desktop icons which link to a webpage of Cody eating the food whilst flashing a middle finger at us.

So for tonight's Mario Kart shenanigans are we doing anything with the new ShyGuy/Yoshi colours or Merc cars? I have had a play and found a setup I like with Roy using one of the new Merc karts. But if we were going to do a "all the ShyGuy colours" session I'd be OK with this.

Man there needs to be a way to manually sort teams. TEAM YOSHI VS TEAM SHY GUY

We can still do it, you just sabotage the members of your team if they aren't rockin' the appropriate character.

The game breaks down points individually, so all it requires is some basic math skills.

Are we actually for real doing all shy guys are yoshis? I haven't bought the DLC yet, but I can make a point of doing so if I'm the only one out or anything.

Also Philia, who has still only played this game for like 5 minutes ever and hasn't played Mario Kart in general really, just sat down and is now playing 150cc Grand Prix so she can see this "Music Park" level.

Probably not, I imagine people will still want to play as their favoured characters (Roy's my boy after all). I wouldn't rush out to buy DLC if I were you.
