Oh, wasn't referring to objects or tokens. But more on the background drawing tools. Basically, I changed the grid size to 20 from 50 before starting (how stupid of me). If I change it back, everything I did will be out of whack.

As per the screenshot, the grids don't fit and I don't see a way to make them fit (other than resizing the grid).

A possible workaround is to insert directly from the resource library as an object or the background. Buuut I'm wondering if there's a hidden feature I'm missing (like the free-rotate with CTRL+Shift which took me a while to find).

Ah, I see. No, unless you want to adjust every single item by hand by free-sizing it, you'll just have to deal with things being off-grid until you get back to 50. :(

Zergrinch Apr 23, 2010 09:40 AM

Dangit.

Oh well, Shin and lurker will just have to deal with a substandard Labyrinth of Doom arena map

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 23, 2010 12:16 PM

So long as it has things to hide behind I'm happy.

Peruse/familiarize at your respective leisure.

Neat, magic weapons. These should be fun.

I need to figure out exactly what Glenn's backstory is; i've got a decent idea but i need to hammer out the details.

EDIT: Oh yeah, i may or may not have a lot of internet access this coming week on account of i'm going on tour with my choir, but i'll be on at least a couple of times, hopefully. If i'm not responding to something right away, that may be the reason.

FatsDomino Apr 24, 2010 02:21 PM

Well I'm sure Pang is in the middle of setting things up plus not much is usually done on the weekends so no one will hold that against you. Activity was sparse this week anyway considering things are coming to a close on Adventure 7.

However now that my slow ass is out of the equation I'm hoping the pace will be faster. =I

This wiki character sheet is frickin' sweet. I need to relearn combat procedures, but that'll come in time.

Does "Martial - Garrison Child" mean my character was an army brat/grew up in a barracks?

The unmovable stubborn Apr 26, 2010 07:47 PM

I know the tileset for the first room there looks a bit crap; I'm working on it. If any of you want to declare any purchases with your spare gold retroactive to being thrown in the hole, feel free. I'm not drawing up shop lists this time, just use the Builder and your common sense about what a town of 2000 would or wouldn't have available for sale.

Zerg, I regret to inform you that Changeling Disguise only allows you to assume the form of a humanoid race. Horse-Headed Minotaur People are not an existent race choice. However, you may drag your little red wagon into the pit with you, why the hell not.

More or less.

Zergrinch Apr 26, 2010 07:53 PM

Dang. No Denical. Oh well. :(

This is normally a large creature, but how about a medium-sized one of these :33:

If it's a huge dungeon, I might need extra ammo. Retroactively purchasing 150 arrows for 5 GP, all into wagon.

Not that it matters for me, but more of a curiosity. Would a town of 2,000 have alchemical reagents for sale? In case Garr, Gheth, Glenn, or Puyet want to get some magical stuff that I can conjure up :)

wvlfpvp Apr 26, 2010 08:55 PM

I'll keep y'all posted, but depending on how things (real life) pan out, I might need to move down one slot in the rotation, although I've actually got stuff like backgrounds picked out.

I'm so tempted to ask for the Character Builder and just level up the character as the group goes on.

Scent of a Grundle Apr 27, 2010 12:10 AM

Please tell me the door Cal is feebly attempting to be sneaky at is free swinging and that he falls through it. Not only would it be hilarious, it would.... no, scratch that. it would just be hilarious.

Zergrinch Apr 27, 2010 05:52 AM

Pang, you said none of us understood the language, but doesn't Glenn (Hawkeye) speak Elven?

Hawk, you found it so technically it's yours. But... may I take the centaur statue, please? :)

The unmovable stubborn Apr 27, 2010 06:06 AM

Yes, but Glenn isn't listening at the door so all he hears is the not-discernibly-Elven voice.

Zergrinch Apr 27, 2010 07:15 AM

Those are mighty small doors on the new map (looks like we all need to squeeze through). Is this intentional?

Zephyrin Apr 28, 2010 01:50 PM

So is this a regular thing to go back and edit our posts now without leaving a marker to at least say we did so?

The unmovable stubborn Apr 28, 2010 03:30 PM

Well, it's nobody's fault really that automated edit notification is busted in the Basement for some reason. :(

Zerg don't edit your post to respond to things that happen after your post it causes time paradox

FatsDomino Apr 28, 2010 04:51 PM

pang is super serious about time paradox

Fair enough. I just didn't want to post spam, is all.

Events have to occur in some order. If that order is "in order of posting" this makes life easier for everyone

's all

:(

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 29, 2010 03:46 PM

Zerg, when was the last time you saw anyone getting told off for spam on the boards, let alone here in the Basement?

wvlfpvp Apr 30, 2010 01:04 PM

I don't know about getting told off, but I have a few infractions to that length.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 30, 2010 02:27 PM

Not for over 18 months you haven't.

wvlfpvp Apr 30, 2010 03:19 PM

Yeah, I realized that well after I posted. My more recent ones are for OTHER

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss May 1, 2010 03:09 AM

Yay, traps!

I want to see a trap like the ones you get in the second Great Wall level in Tomb Raider 2. Walk into a room, get eaten by a tiger, reload, dive sideways into the room shooting at the tiger, the ceiling collapses, reload, dive sideways into the room, kill the tiger, pull the lever, fall down a slope get impaled on spikes halfway down, reload, dive into the room, kill the tiger, pull the lever, slide, jump, slide, jump again, feel happy with yourself that you dodged that one first time, land in a corridor, get squashed by the boulder rolling down it, reload, repeat ad nauseum.

Being able to save the game where you wanted made it easier that the first. The developers deciding to make the last few levels completely unfair more than made up for it.
