We all do. I was lucky enough that no one in my area cares about MGS, so when Subsistence came out, they had unpurchased Limited Editions. I immediately put down 10 extra bucks and got one... I'm debating selling it after seeing those eBay prices though.

I don't think that anyone can complain about the graphics of MGS4 though. (but people will try)

As for Subsistance, I don't know if this has already been discussed but does anyone have the SE version of this game? And if so, is that third disc really worth getting the SE version for? Just wanted to know before I went to buy this game.

Considering what they're auctions off on ebay for, then I'd say yes, assuming that you can even get your hands on one. Truely a limited edition, the MGS3SLE is.

Perhaps the hype has already started to die down? I don't see many bids for ones going above $100 anymore..

Im glad i got the LE version, but honestly, dont go out and spend $100+ on it. You wont get anything more than the third disc, which only has the movie version of the story. The second disc is the best for extras anyways. And the story is much better if you experience it with the actual game.

Is the movie disc even in Dolby Digital. It's a complete waste if it isn't.

Also, Game Crazy apparently has tons of LEs.

I went to eight stores, to no avail. One EB a couple blocks away has a copy, but it's for a pre-order not picked up yet. They said if it's not picked up by tomorrow, I can buy it. I'm going early tomorrow morning to find out.

Perhaps Ebay prices will go lower, to around $50, soon. I'd pay that for the limited, dammit.

I got the Limited Edition but haven't watched the third disc yet. I just got online mode to work today. Does anyone know if there is a way to reload a gun online without having to go through the whole ammo clip? The old "unequip then re-equip" method from MGS doesn't work online and I can't find any other method for reloading than to drop the weapon completely and then recollect it.

Does exisatnce have it's own cover? Same thing goes for Online mode disc, is it in same box as DVD 1 or have it's own?

Yes push in the R3 "analog" button to reload. Also for machine guns when in first person view shooting hold L1 as well to center the game and zoom in more for better aiming. Another thing to chat with a mic hold down select then talk while holding it down. It will say voice chat on while holding it, you have to hold it each time you wanna talk.

Disc 1 and 2 come in the normal box. Disc 3 comes in its own DVD box.

I got an email from EB telling me my copy was in the mail on Wendsday - but by this point I doubt I'll be getting the third disc, which was the whole reason I was buying the game again.

Well, I went to EB again this morning to see if I could buy the copy the guy didn't pick up. Apparently, he already paid for it in full, so I couldn't, but the EB employee knew that an EB 40 minutes north had one, so I got it held until I got there and managed to get my own copy.

Goddamn, that was a lot of trouble for one game.

Any figure smaller than 4 inches is a waste of money.

When I get a job and ect. (during the summer) I will probably hit up eBay for a LE after the surge of "OMG GATTA GET IT" prices has died down a bit.

its not like Im looking for a sealed copy or anything, but ill be damned if the discs come all steel-wooled and shit.
