Yeah, I hate fighting against Yoshi. It was lucky for me when they nerfed him in Melee, but now he's got his power back. Those were some great matches though, especially the Marth vs. Pit at the end. That Bo-bomb I got was so lucky.

He just lacks that double-jump cancel he had in Melee. :mad:

This actually isn't a bad idea. While we wait for everyone who's decommissioned for the time being, why don't we hold mock battles to maintain interest for the rest of us? I really want to see this tournament finish with most everyone staying in until the end.

I wouldn't mind the idea of mock battles. I joined mostly to fight against some new people since CPU's at Level 9 are hardly even good practice.

...Once. Still, more than I expected. Our last match as Ness vs. ROB was so back and forth, with some stage effect or item keeping us even the whole time. Damn you for pulling out Yoshi at one point, too.

It's like I can't beat Zelda for some strange reason (the reason probably being that I suck with Snake, meh). I can see Din's Fire coming from a mile away quite literally, but I can't dodge it!

That ROB vs. Ness match definitely had a lot more explosives in it than usual. Items were all on at low frequency, so I don't know what happened there.

Yoshi can dodge Samus's final smashes aaaaall day. =D

Slicky and I are going to have our match right now. No peeking. >_>

Those matches were so hilarious, really lucked out on the first one. Had horrible luck with the others in terms of items, lol box sliding towards me pushing me off in corneria. It was fun, wasn't really expecting to win too.

Sorry, I've been a little bit of an emotional wreck rl so yeah...I might be able to get my match on this sunday.

I've pmed Miles a few days ago about the match, understandable since he's an admin probably got lost in the sea of pm's and busy with stuff.

But a heads up, I'll be travelling overseas in a few days, for a couple of weeks returning on May 9. Unless it's ok to wait out till I get back or things do get moving, then I don't mind booting me off. So I'll be back in time for the 2v2.

I won against Slicky 3-0. We had some fun decent battles though we both were playing pretty defensively. Probably because we never played each other before and didn't know what to expect. He did get to taste my landmaster in the final match. XD
