I won't! I only have one more day.

Tomorrow I'm avoiding this thread altogether and NOT OPENING ANY PMs FROM ANYBODY.

Spoiler:
In response to the gif just posted:
1. That creature looks way too mobile for something that's supposed to be huge.
2. Why would it go through the effort of eating one little camera man?
3. Maybe it's one of the creature's spawns? Like something that grew from someone, like we saw that 'expanding' girl in the trailer.

Or, or or or or or.... I could just fucking wait for the movie to come out already. :\

I have a feeling that UK residents will have no fun at all watching this. Fucking internet.

Oh man, I am SO tempted to go straight to the theater from work, but I'll probably go tomorrow night. I guess I'll try and post on my reactions (Spoiler free if possible, or not, depending...) after I see the movie.

I agree with you 100% dusk.

Spoiler:
Once again I'm going with the whole idea that the monster in that .gif is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too sleek and mobile for it to be the monster we've seen in the trailers.

Also, GG with the awesome lighting going on in that .gif. From what I'm to understand this all takes place at night, and from the way it looks, that monster is in the bright of day light.

So all in all, I think it was just a very excellent made .gif capitalizing on the hype of what a few random drawings were. I still firmly believe THAT is not the monster, too many errors in the .gif.

Edit: Oh and for something that is suppose to be that HUGE that .gif makes it look pretty
Spoiler:
Tiny

I KNOW.

I would be there at midnight no questions asked if I didn't have to be at work 4 hours after the movie ended. :(

Tomorrow is definitely going to be worth it though. This is going to be the first movie I've ever seen on an IMAX screen.

Hate to burst your bubble, doubters, but the .gif kainlightwind posted is straight from the movie. That's what the monster looks like, and you can see the puffy red things on the side of its head that I talked about before. That's the first time you get a good look at the monster head on. It just looks weird because the contrast is a bit off since it's from a cam shot in a movie theater.

Also, you're wondering why the monster would bother eating the cameraman? It's because it's a giant monster movie that wants to scare the crap out of you, that's why. If you're looking for deep reasons for the events in the movie, you're going to be disappointed. Also, me and several of my friends felt the movie did a poor job of maintaining a constant size for the monster. Sometimes it looked like it was the size of a building, other times the size of a bus. The movie is pure entertainment, so just enjoy it.

Now it looks like a Doom 3 imp with the head of that Kamen Rider guy, except the helmet is alive or something:|

I don't care about spoilers anymore. I don't have anyone to watch the movie with and I won't even have time to watch it. :(

I thought it was kind of funny that just a couple weeks after opening, Cloverfield pretty much died.

I know I pretty much lost a lot of interest once I saw the actual movie. It was a kick ass movie for sure but now that the mystery and hype is over, it's exposed for what it is: just an entertaining, very well made, cleverly marketed movie... with a SEQUEL coming out. Christ, can't they ever leave well enough alone?
