I'm picking up a copy at Target on Thursday; it's on sale for $45 this week. I've got Thursday completely off from school, so I'll have all day to be enjoy the KH2 goodness.

Funny you mention that, as I rented the movie last week so I wouldn't get too lost in the game. Of course it's impossible for me to fully appreciate it, since it was groundbreaking CG at the time, but I can see why the Star Trek/Wars clique would worship it. I also see where Reboot got its inspiration from. Aside from that, though, I found the movie pretty boring, with uninspiring characters. Heck, Tron wasn't even the main hero. It'll make a real nice world for KH2 though.

I'll wait until I see it for myself in the game. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just want to enjoy using "XIII Order" until then, because "Organization XIII" sounds really, really lame. :(

I picked up my copy today at EB. When I got back from class, I flew through 4 hours of the game. So far I'm impressed. The system seems refined and perfected. The camera is less annoying, the triangle button moments are pretty nifty, and I can open chests during battle! If I had a nickle for everytime I cursed out Kingdom Hearts for not letting me open a chest during battle, I'd have a shitload of nickles. Voices are pretty decent so far as well, and the intro wasn't too bad. I had listened to the Japanese version so much, I was worried I'd dislike it. The story is a little confusing so far, but I won't go into detail. I want to play more!

It's funny how My mom grounded me today. 50 bucks that I have been saving for 5 months. She knew I wanted it... If only I had a car. I'm not speaking to my mother right now BTW

I managed to get through on the first try.

This version will probably take some time to get used to, but it's not bad. I had to listen to "Passion" a few times before I ended up liking it as well.

Gamespot gave it an 8.7... They normally rate games more fairly. I agree with an 8.7 more than a 7.6...

He's proved himself to be a great Voice Over imo. Good choice, at least on paper, I'm sure he does a cool Axel though.(he did Raiden in MGS2 and someone in FFX iirc)..

Oh, and IGN is full of shit.

EVERY single person who has given impressions of this game either by living in Japan or importing says the fighting system is BETTER and deeper than the first. And KH2 can't be "literally degraded to button mashing" when the first WAS "press attack over and over".

The camera, gummi ship, story = all better.

And when I say every single impression of the game says the battle system is better, I'm not exaggerating.

Well...damn the japanese and their use of engrish!...thats all i have to say...i can remeber whats "Everything will be all happy" in writing on somthing...meh, but The 13th Order sounds better, more mystery than Orginination 13...that just sounds corny...which makes some of the dialog in this im sure sound just weird.
