More like Tears of Mario! |
Is Trauma Center worth getting? My friend says it's hard to keep your hand steady for gameplay.

I think I'm cursed. Everytime I try to get a hold of one of these they're always out of stock. Where are the Wiis, dammit. >=|
|
They will be in shortage for a while, unfortunately. I've been looking for one and I know a lot of other people who have as well.
|
posting this from the final version of the internet channel. it's really neat. so much better than the beta, obvs.
|
The fact that you can pick favorites without going back to the 'front page' maes the final version 145 times better. If they could just include Quicktime and wmv. support, I'd be a happy
|
Wouldn't they need to get some sort of license to have Quicktime or wmv support, since they are Apple and Microsoft software?
|
I LOVE Trauma Center. Parts of it are hard but it's a great game, especially if you are looking for something different.

Seems that the console friend codes are for sending crap outside of the games....for those of you without a DS: Welcome to the world of friend codes. Prepare to suffer.
http://gonintendo.com/wp-content/pho...130_21_big.jpg Mario Strikers there. Also confirmed for this game is a region-lock on multiplayer. Seems they'll be giving latency issues a shot here, but I see this as bad bad bad bad bad for the Wii multiplayer scene. They know we hate it. They know it's a pain. They're killing their online system. |
We can only hope that they'll actually learn something from region-locking Mario Strikers and make other games worldwide. It seems like a whole new level of ridiculous for Nintendo to do that.

Region locked Strikers, interest - 700,000. Way to kick off the service you goons. Although if it's anything like the other Mario sports games, it'll probably lose it's real multiplayer fun if there's nobody else in the room. Not that I have a Wii anymore anyway. >=( HAVE SOME BOX ART!

The professor on Big Brain Academy's cover is far too phallic for my liking. I do not approve of nudists on my Wii.
|
Hahaha, personally my favorite part is the dude in the right window.

You've been watching too much of teh pr0n, Tritoch. The Professor looks like Mr. Peanut to me.

I'm gonna post this here before I create some "omfg my wii broke" thread. Just bought it a couple of days ago, and it seems that while it detects my wireless connection, it refuses to download the updates past a particular point. I've let it run for 18+ hours and it's never gotten more than a 3rd of the way through - always gets stuck at a particular place.
Like I said, it detects the connection and everything pretty well. All of my other wireless internet-related products work fine (PSP, laptops, etc.), so I'm fairly confident it's not the router's fault. Any suggestions? |
First off:
Make sure your router is using the older A/B/G bands, and not just the N band. The Wii apparently doesn't support it. You can also call up Nintendo and ask them. If all else fails... I dunno. Try grabbing a USB dongle? =\ |
Go to the nintendowificonnection website and check your router's compatibility. You may need to update your router's firmware. I had to.

I had the downloading updates problem until I switched my router to channel 11. After that, it has worked flawlessly.
|
Oh yeah! I forgot about that. That was one of the other things they told you to do.
