Oh man, Raw ended on a very good note tonight.

Spoiler:
Sorry to sound like JR but...HBK! HBK!! MY GOD, HBK IS BACK!!
Hopefully, a DX reunion will follow. *crosses fingers*

Main event for Cyber Sunday has been chosen. Randy vs ? For the Title. The three choices are going to be: Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy and Shawn Michaels. Plan was originally going to be Randy Orton vs John Cena in a choice of specialty matches. :|

SuperNova Oct 9, 2007 04:49 PM

It'll be Michaels. We all know this. What'll be interesting if a Hardy/Kennedy feud comes outta this. Oh and if you doubt the Jericho stuff, look at the spoiler.

Spoiler:

YouTube - SAVE_US.222 explained by WTA (Y2J's new theme) lol.

This video is predictions as to what the different messages in the clip are referencing. While I think a lot of it might be a stretch, the most tell tale are the numbers, all of which reference 'Jericho'. As for the website, there was a site last week at www.saveus_222.com where it asked for a logon and password. If you looked in the source code on WWE's page for the saveus_222 video, there was a logon/password in the source code that read WWE/JERICHO123ALPHA. When you logged in, there was an image that also referenced Jericho. Details: YouTube - Chris Jericho - Save Us Secret Site and a response at YouTube - NEW INFO! Chris Jericho - Savior Self Secret Site . They're making this very viral, but I think there's one true telltale sign that this will all come to fruition.

Chris Jericho signed a new WWE contract last week.

Oh yeah, it'll be rigged to have the votes go to Michaels. If they had any consideration of the fans, Val would have had the title shot at No Mercy, but with Cena out I guess it was just up to Triple H to take advantage and get another World Title win under his name. He's gotta get all he can in anyway since he's not even sure how much longer he has left physically anymore due to both quad injuries.

mortis Oct 9, 2007 06:40 PM

and so Michaels will win for a third time at the man chosen for a title shot.

Well, for WWE No Mercy was going to be a hard show. The writers look like they covered it fairly well since the Writers didn't have a huge stable of people to choose from.

ECW has a fairly weak roster...at least in the way writers are utilizing them and giving Cody Rhodes the shot would have been a squash because we all know they aren't going to push Rhodes fast.

But like everyone said as well Kennedy and Orton would have been a heel heel match.

WWE could actually throw a curveball and put the IC title on Kennedy, reform DX and put Hardy in the match because Hardy is really worthy of the title.

Whenever I think Jeff Hardy it always reminds me of that huge match between him and Taker on Raw some years ago with Hardy doing EXTREMELY well

Ah he'll be ok. Just look at Michaels. That guys' whole body is tore up and he just KEEPS coming back. I agree - this is obviously a setup to get Shawn what he wants finally.

mortis Oct 9, 2007 07:48 PM

I see this as follows:

Cyber Sunday, Michaels faces and defeats Orton...by DQ.

At survivor series, in a surprising twist, Orton locks on the Sharpshooter on HBK, with Trips and Vince ringing the bell. Orton, Trips and Vince then run off as a ten year reactment of what happened in Montreal, with the irony being it was Shawn who got scrwed this time.

Shawn and HHH feud. Orton gets a fresh, new opponent. I would have said he'd face the returning Cena, but Cena won't be back before 'Mania.

SuperNova Oct 9, 2007 09:08 PM

And Jericho doesn't play into any of this. God I hate you all.

Umm...lets see...how can we figure Jericho into the title match...Well...lets see...he doesn't have any beef with anyone in the matches...and hes not even in the match.

Crash "Long-Winded Wrong Answer" Landon Oct 9, 2007 09:38 PM

Jericho will get a pointless feud with a midcarder like Carlito. They will have a stupid match at an event like Royal Rumble in which no titles are exchanged. If the rivalry goes over well, then they'll give Jericho a four-star feud for Wrestlemania.

Satisfactory?

Winter Storm Oct 9, 2007 09:58 PM

Haha. That's how it always is.

Was anyone else a bit surprized at how Kennedy got chants saying he sucks? It even surprized him.

Shawn wont be bothered by that me thinks. It'd work very well though if he goes in as champion and loses it in that manner. As much as I hate to say it, the chants, and cheers wont be for him infact, they might be laughing at him and chanting "So? You screwed Bret".

mortis Oct 9, 2007 10:13 PM

Ok, Ok, so a properly built Jericho feuds with ORton and faces him at Mania 24. Not really.

Slash Oct 9, 2007 10:15 PM

See, the only person I could see Jericho feuding with is Cena since Cena did get him fired, but Cena is out of the picture.

dagget Oct 9, 2007 11:16 PM

Survivor Series may be the debut of the new Hart Foundation, working together with Vince probably. (if not return then, a heel turn by them if they are to debut soon) Probably screwing Shawn over setting up a DX vs Hart Foundation rivalry for a little bit.

I just don't see Triple H turning heel while Orton has the title. (I honestly don't see him turning heel again for the rest of his in-ring career, but eh.)

Slash Oct 10, 2007 12:11 AM

Yeah...that and HHH said himself he doesn't want to be a heel. I think HHH is more useful as a face than a heel. Especially because of DX.

DX antics = RATINGS!

Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't see the use of HHH as a heel in the first place now.

Slash Oct 10, 2007 01:13 AM

Because with the brand split, WWE didn't have many options for heels. Now WWE has Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, Carlito and Orton for Main Event Heels if they need them

mortis Oct 10, 2007 03:32 AM

I could forsee this as part of long term planning with Jericho.

Have him feud with Orton. Build him up and let him beat Orton at Mania for the title. Then, have him turn heel on Cena, feuding with Cena up to a match at Summerslam 08. He could even screw Cena, win at SS08 and continue their feud until Survivor Series 08.

Granted, again, loooooooooooong term planning, but hey.

Winter Storm Oct 10, 2007 12:47 PM

Vince is'nt going to do that because it's too creative and requires a lot of thought.(=P)

Come to think of it, if we were writers for the WWE, Steph would fire us all.

dagget Oct 10, 2007 03:12 PM

Yeah, because we would write stuff that made sense and wouldn't glorify Triple H like they would want him to be.

*spits coffee on his laptop and laughs*

Main event potential. Certainly not main event yet though.

Crash, I didn't know you even watched wrestling.

I just wish more people would mark out for Jericho. Guess I'm the lone duck in that row. I just kinda think that Jericho would be a perfect fued for Orton to continue the "Legend Killer" gimmick. It would just be one more notch on the list for Orton.

Slash Oct 10, 2007 06:37 PM

Carlito could be pushed Main Event if WWE used him right, so far they weren't doing a good job...

Winter Storm Oct 10, 2007 08:29 PM

I know what I wanted to say...now.

Randy got that title for one reason: lineage.

Jericho is not considered a "legend" -so exactly what is there to kill?

Other than being the first indisputed champion.

SuperNova Oct 11, 2007 09:51 AM

I'm certain that Jericho being the first ever WWE Undisputed Champion would be considered legendary. It's like Pat Patterson. He did nothing special over his career, but because he was the first Intercontinental Champion, he's considered a legend. I would argue Jericho is more of a legend than Patterson for sure.
