Like how at unforgiven Khali will lose the title and not even get pinned.
Well you were right..but wrong about the not being pinned.
Ehhhh, I got nothing but bad news(kinda). I'll let you all find out on your own lol.
Raw is going to get pretty interesting and so will Smackdown.

Is this about the results of the PPV or is this something else?

SuperSonic won the WWE title.
=P
Spoiler:
Cena DQ'ed himself and went apeshit on Orton. Mr.Cena then booted Orton in the face when John had him down on the floor in the STFU. The next match..probably Ortons' last chance will be a Last Man Standing match at No Mercy. The fans were a bit different this time. There were two cheers: "Lets go Cena, Lets go Orton"
Matt and MVP won. MVP was gonna walk out on him but I guess he realized he's teamed up with a 9 time tag team champ.
Candice got her ass whoop. She retained by luck only.
The..best tag match I've ever seen in my life between Brian and Paul vs Cade and Murdoch. The champs retained. Thier strat was to keep Brian in the ring at all times. The poor guy was too beat up.
~_~ CM Punk is letting that title go to his head. He seems too confident and a bit cocky. I dont like the guy but Burke clearly had the match won. But he didnt win.
Triple H won.
About the triple threat World championship title.
Batista didn't really want Rey, niether did Khali. This may as well been a match between those two. The way it ended was, Rey got batista bombed on Khali(who had fell on his ass to the 619) so Batista waited for them both to get back up. He choose to spinebuster Khali(he threw out Rey lol). He actually LIFTED Khali off the mat and flattened him on the ground. 1 2 3.
I should have stopped watching after this, because I knew that the main event had Henry as the jobber. Undertaker won of course. And at the end, he made it pretty clear that Batista better start worrying.

And now for some predictions...
Spoiler:
Probably it will be Rey Vs Khali in a rematch at No Mercy. Batista will retain. Batista will then lose the title to Taker at Survivor Series and snap having lost the title twice to taker and being unable to beat Taker. He'll take it out either on Taker or Mysterio, probably the latter, then lose to Taker in a rematch, but beat Rey at the Royal Rumble. During this time, he'll bunt heads with a title-less John Cena and cost Cena a chance to win the Royal Rumble. That will then lead to Cena Vs Batista, with Cena winning.
Undertaker will feud with Khali for the title at Armegedon, and the Royal Rumble, winning both matches. He will then defend the title against Edge at Mania, with the idea being Streak Vs Streak, and Edge having single's wins over Taker (but not vice-versa), including for the world title, and also due to the fact that Edge never lost the belt. Taker will beat Edge and continue his long reign which was promised earlier this year.
Cena meanwhile will face and beat Orton at No Mercy. He'll then go on to challege Triple H in which there will be a triple threat at Survivor Series. Orton will then beat Trips with the sharpshooter as a 10-year memorial to Bret (of course Trips will not actually have tapped out). This will get the title off Cena without Cena ever losing it. And it will set up the Orton/Trips feud.
Cena will have a match against Orton at Armegedon, in which Orton will get DQ'd. Cena will then get pissed and either 1) face Orton at the Royal Rumble in which Batista wil cost Cena the victory or 2) enter the royal rumble and be eliminated thanks to Batista. Most likely the former than the latter.
Orton, btw, will win the title as I said, then defend it against Cena at Armegedon, then against Shawn Michaels at the Royal Rumble. He'll win the match, and Michaels will go on to feud with another up-and-coming star in Kennedy. Michaels will than have a emotional match against Kennedy ten years from what was originated slated as his last match ever. As for Orton, he will then face Triple H, whom has won the royal rumble, at Wrestlemania, in which Trips will beat Orton for the title.
Mark Henry is now going to become a jobber again. He lost to Taker, and hence his build-up is done. Most likely, he'll face Rey Mysterio (if Myeterio doesn't face Khali) at Wrestlemania.
CM Punk will lost the ECW title back to Morrison. And then...well, since there are no other contenders for the title, those two will feud for the title for forever and a day.
Lashley will return and beat Kennedy (whom will be at a reduced push now). He will then turn heel, probably on Cena. Cena though will beat him in a number one contender's match either for dec or Jan's PPV. After that um...ok, no idea where he might go.
Murdoch and Cade will lose the straps to Kendrick and London. They will lose it to the WGTT. WGTT will lose it back to Kendrick and London. Unfortunately, that's about it given there are no other tag teams on the Raw brand.
Hardy and MVP will lose the tag titles to Duece and Domino. D&D will then lose the titles to Smackdown's version of Cletus from the Simpsons. And um, well, there aren't any more tag teams on Smackdown! so there you go.
Matt Hardy will win the U.S. title so he and Jeff can have the secondary singles titles in the WWE at the same time. He'll be a transitional champ though and lose thanks to MVP.
Jeff will lose the IC title to Kennedy. Kennedy will get a reduced push, as I said, but will still get an IC title reign.
Umaga will face the returning Kamala. No, not really.

As I put earlier in the thread, because it was leaked Kennedy was going to be the son, Vince got pissed that his storylines were being leaked, so when creative came up with Hornswoggle, they didn't tell anyone who they had written as the son and flew everyone in so people wouldn't be able to rule out by process of elimination. Hornswoggle, for the most part, was a complete surprise. So everyone imagineable with a contract was out there. :P

I know, that's something I expected out of Stone Cold not HHH. Ah well, he just doesn't care and he's having fun.
Anyone notice how Randy was cheered for RKOing Cena's father? Wow, now the crowd not only dislikes Cena but his family too.
What were they chanting at the end? I couldn't catch it.

Sep 17, 2007 10:09 PM
They were chanting "You can't wrestle".
I don't think he's tweening. He got cheered for pedigreeing both of them. It's more like "this was my fight, don't get involved" type of thing

Well you gotta give Cena some kind of respect. He keeps his head up despite all the boos and bad chants. He knows everybody is tired of seeing him with that title. I expected a little more out of main event..
But I guess it cant always be as bad as the HHH vs JR matchs.
dagget
Sep 18, 2007 01:22 AM
Yeah, his dad did not deserve that crap from the fans, no matter how much everyone hates Cena with the title. That's disrespectful to no end. Plus it happened in the South (and here in Tennessee too) which makes it doubly-bad. It was even chanted loud enough at the end that you could hear it over JR and King and even as it was fading out...
Sometimes the US fans make me feel ashamed. I remember an event I went to for Smackdown (the one Vince announced the nWo back in Jan 02) and when Lilian Garcia was singing the National Anthem, this fucker in front of me kept saying "What" after every line, trying to be funny. It rightly so pissed everyone off and it's amazing he didn't get thrown out for that crap. Although the funniest thing that ever happened was the last event I went to, where I was in 3rd row/ringside and this person wouldn't sit down when The Rock came out. So we started a "sit the fuck down" chant. I was lol'in that night. (I almost got me the Rock's wristband when he threw it in my direction but some asshole jumped in front of me to get it.)
That's why I enjoy watching Asian crowds when they would have Monady Night Raw from Japan. They show so much respect for the sport and cheer and clap when something good happens, boo at buy guys when they do something bad, but you will never see them get rowdy and rambunctious during the match making stupid chants like "You can't wrestle".
Slash

But the Japan crowds also get to see some of the sickest matches and stars like KENTA, The Great Muta Brock Lesnar , Tajiri etc.

Sorry dagget, but I feel completely the opposite...If I paid good money to be in attendence and my main event was Orton vs John Cena...'s father, I'd be doing the same thing. The storyline is weak (dad wrestles to save son's title? LOL@) and I was flicking between football and this the entire time because the angle was legitimate crap (and frankly, so are both wrestlers involved...Orton being the lesser of two evils in my mind).
One of the best things about old ECW tapes were the crowd chants.

I'd be pissed the main event was such shit, but I wouldn't go out of my way to be disrespectful to someone like that, but that's just me. The writers need to find something good to do. They have hope, I mean Hornswoggle is the best thing creative has come up with for a long, long time. :|

On the idea of adding fuel to the Cena/Orton fued, the main event works. On the idea of it being a main event with regards to wrestling, it failed miserably. It would have been better to have had this happen earlier in the show, and then Cena looking for Orton (who will leave) for the rest of the show.

Sep 18, 2007 09:32 AM
Yeah, something like that didn't need to be main event buuuut they really don't have any other main event guys on the roster now except for Cena, Triple H and Orton. (Booker T quit) That is until Kennedy comes back. :| But even then, that's 4 and writing's not taking initiative and trying to push someone else to ME status.

The handcuff thing reminded me of a match the Bossman referree'd at ones those WCW PPVs... where he broke it off the cage. Forgot who was fighting in that match. His dad gets respect from me because he took responsibility for his actions at Unforgiven. I hope Coach begs Vince for next monday night off, because Cena is going to try and murder him.
Vince tossing Hornswoggle to the side like a deadbeat dad incredibly pissed me off.

It was Superbrawl 94, Vader vs Ric Flair. Bossman was the enforcer and at some point, Harley Race and Vader handcuffed Bossman. Bossman broke free, clocked Vader with the nightstick and Flair got the win. Which lead into an angle where Bossman became the Guardian Angel (due to the WWF sending a cease-and-desist letter over the Bossman character) then Bubba Rogers (after GA flopped).
That was right around the time I started watching wrestling, so I remember that pretty well.
