Pang, two questions:
1) Can Brigid sanctify water with her holy symbol and/or prayers? 2) Does holy water hurt the undead? |

I suppose theoretically you could cast Bless on some source of water and then flask it, but I'm not sure it would be worth the use of Bless. As an additional lurker-related note, you keep using Insight to look at random things, which is kind of... well. Insight (Wisdom) You can discern intent and decipher body language during social interactions. You make an Insight check to comprehend motives, to read between the lines, to get a sense of moods and attitudes, and to determine how truthful someone is being. What you probably want is a Search check (Perception). Unless you think the inn might be lying to you somehow. |

I mean, if I were a necromancer and I found out a bunch of adventurers were holed up in the pub, I'd let the zombies distract them outside and send my big, scary henchman through the tunnel in the cellar to surprise them. I think we've been singing from the same hymn sheet all along mate. :) |
We still have time. Why don't we go investigate that back tunnel, and if it goes nowhere, great, one less thing to worry about. If it starts leading to a mausoleum, we can get the hell out of dodge.
|
And if we disturb the sleeping dead, get the hell out of dodge while getting the tar kicked out of us.
On the other hand, that way we know. Pang, you gave a description of where the cavern turns. Where does the mausoleum lie in relation to the Feral Dog? |
The cemetery is a few hundred feet northwest of the inn.
grumble grumble geez can you goons come to some kind of decision in the next week maybe |
GOD FINE
|
LOOK ALRIGHT, SOME OF US ARE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO FACING CERTAIN DEATH IN A NEEDLESS SIEGE AGAINST OVERWHELMING NUMBERS OF THE UNDEAD SO LET'S FORGET ALL THIS TALK OF INVESTIGATING TUNNELS HOPING TO BRING THIS WHOLE DEBACLE TO A SWIFT CONCLUSION AND HUNKER DOWN AND FORTIFY THIS PUB, OK? NOW I HOPE YOU ALL KNOW THE WORDS TO MEN OF HARLECH BECAUSE YOU WON'T HAVE A FREE HAND TO HOLD THE CRIB-SHEET WHEN THE BUTCHERING STARTS.

Men of Freeport stop your dreaming
Can't you see their claw points gleaming See their undead pennants streaming To this battlefield Men of Freeport stand ye steady It cannot be ever said ye For the battle were not ready Freemen never yield From the hills rebounding Let these war cries sounding Summon all at Melora's call The mighty force surrounding Men of Freeport on to glory This will ever be your story Keep these burning words before ye Freemen will not yield |
There's two staircases in the Feral Dog map. They both lead to the cellar, right? And thus you will presume we secured both staircases, and not sneak any undead bastards around one staircase since we only were referring to them in the singular?
|
The stairs in the room with all the crates and barrels actually um shouldn't even be there and I forgot to cover them up so just treat that as ordinary floor
:( |
I thought those other stairs just led up to the raised stage in the bar room.

I'll take over as Ewan if no one has any objections. I'd like to put all of the useless knowledge I learned to some kind of use. Does he have any abilities from his time as a bouncer or is he pretty much just a normal unarmed person along for the ride?
|
I have no objection so long as you lose that horrid oversized sig.
|
Why is there a dead guy laying outside of the bar? =o
|
No objection here, Hawkeye. He has a few things he can do, even if his weapons aren't the greatest.
Ewan Level 1 Medium natural humanoid HP 29; Bloodied 14 Speed 6 Melee: Frying Pan (standard; at-will) ✦Weapon +3 vs. AC; 1d8 + 1 damage, and Ewan shifts 1 square. Ranged: Carving Knife (standard; at-will) ✦Weapon Ranged 5/10; +5 vs. AC; 1d4 + 3 damage. Melee: Impromptu Dentistry (standard; encounter) ✦Weapon Requires frying pan; +3 vs. AC; 1d8 + 1 damage, the target is dazed until the end of Ewan’s next turn, and Ewan shifts 1 square. Crowd Control Ewan deals an extra 1d6 damage on melee and ranged attacks against any target he has combat advantage against. |
Should have made Ewan black, Pang. Always gotta have a black man in dese tings.
|
We go to the battlemap with the peasant art we have, not the peasant art we wish he had. :(
