Perhaps, or maybe get someone from one of the other brands to come over. Oh yeah...Regal is out too and he just became the GM of Raw...

Slash Aug 30, 2007 06:40 PM

I think its kind of crappy that they're all getting suspended for shit they did 6 months ago.

Winter Storm Aug 30, 2007 08:00 PM

Ahaha, Helms is gonna be out for long time so no big deal. Edge wont care. As for Chavo...:/. Man these people are stupid. HHH vs. Cena - you know its going to happen. And dammit Randy stop getting in trouble X_X;;;

Spoiler:

and Mysterio wins the #1 condendership? and I thought Show vs Mysterio was David vs. Goliath

How is that gonna..

Nah nevermind.

Taken from WWE.com.

Quote:

Based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.
Randy Orton - Man that's a major hit considering he was probably going to get another title shot. There's goes another person that probably could've taken the title from Cena.

Charles Haas, Jr. - Sucks, but I was never a big fan of TWGTT. Shelton does better in singles action anyway.

Adam "Edge" Copeland - Hm, injured anyway but I guess it'll be a while before he gets another title shot when he comes back.

Robert "Booker T" Huffman - I really don't know what to say about this one. If he comes back, it better be without his King gimmick.

Shane Helms - Yeah, I don't watch Smackdown and you guys said he's injured right? Same situation with Edge, like you guys said.

Mike Bucci - Who?

Anthony Carelli - I never liked this guy. He had no charisma.

John "Johnny Nitro" Hennigan - That's really bad. ECW has had some shitty luck since coming back from the dead.

Darren "William Regal" Matthews - No comment, I was surprised with this one.

Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson - Again, another person I expected to take the title from Cena. So much for that.

Chavo Guerrero - This one really surprised me and I don't watch Smackdown much but I know he was feuding with Rey, so that's not gonna happen.

As far as main contention, Smackdown wasn't hurt too bad. Raw and ECW however took some hits so this is what I see happening:

Raw - Coach will be GM while Regal takes a "vacation" and who's left to feud with Cena? HHH needs to take the title right freakin now. Since it looks like Shelton is gonna be in singles action now, I'd like to see him take the IC title from Umanga, because he was a pretty good champ.

ECW - Not enough people to do a battle royal like they did when Edge forfeited the title on Smackdown and I don't see them just handing the title to Punk. If they're smart, they'll do a tournament...and since the roster is so small, they should involve every male member on the roster in that tournament.

Slash Aug 30, 2007 08:17 PM

Smackdown is the only roster thats better off because in a month Taker is coming back.

And Mike Bucci = Simon Dean a.k.a. Hollywood Nova

But seriously...this was a raid with records found SIX months ago...

---add---
watched the mysterio match again...gotta say it was funny with the people holding the signs.

When you have individual signs...make sure you have them the right way up so it says 619 and not 919

dagget Aug 30, 2007 10:58 PM

lol Orton has managed to fuck up every single title oppertunity he has gotten recently. Why be surprised by this at all? :tpg:

I don't think too much is going to come out of this, anyway. I don't see them getting fired, just probably off TV for a month or until all this clears up.

Spoiler:
DAILY NEWS ADDS MORE NAMES TO THEIR LIST OF WWE WRESTLERS WHO WERE CLIENTS OF BUSTED PHARMACY, WWE LIVE EVENT CHANGED AND MORE
by Buck Woodward @ 7:51:43 PM on 8/30/2007

The Daily News has added Eddie Fatu (Umaga) and Shoichi Funaki to their list of WWE wrestlers that were clients of Signature Pharmacy. You can see the updated Daily News article by clicking here. Thanks to everyone who sent that along.

WWE has added their announcement regarding the 10 suspensions and the change to the Wellness Policy (as of November 1st, performers who violate the Wellness Policy will have their names made public) to the main page of WWE.com. Earlier today, it was only on the corporate website. You can see the announcement on WWE.com by clicking here.

Thanks to Devin Cutting for the following. ... The WWE Raw live event in Utica has been rescheduled, with WWE announcing that "Due to a scheduling conflict, the WWE Raw live event in Utica, N.Y. has been changed from Saturday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. to Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Any ticket issued or sold with the original 9/29/07 date printed will be honored on the rescheduled show date of 1/6/08."

Slash Aug 30, 2007 11:56 PM

Okay...so Raw...is now the like..C show ~laughs~

Funaki = not a big loss

Umaga...BIG loss.

Well...why not just end the brand extension or at least modify it. If I were a writer thats what I would suggest.

mortis Aug 31, 2007 05:26 AM

hrm, guess Hardy will be getting the IC strap. Good to see a guy who just got off suspension getting the strap from someone who just got on it.

I seriously wonder how they will do these title swaps. I mean, I could forsee John Morrison losing in a quick match for the title against Punk just to get him out of there, but Umaga?

Slash Aug 31, 2007 08:35 AM

same way umaga lost the IC before. interference or something

mortis Aug 31, 2007 10:37 AM

Well, what I mean is, these guys are holding titles but are under suspension. Now, when RVD got in trouble a year or so back, the WWE wasn't under such a microscope that it is now so RVD could actually have two full matches to drop both the titles and go away for thirty days. Yet, now, with things as they are, the WWE probably wants to get those titles off as fast as possible with them having as little TV title as they can. I wouldn't be surprised if Hardy walks out on Raw with the IC title having beaten Umaga in a house show of all things. The ECW world title-no way, but that could be a quickie.

Slash Aug 31, 2007 05:55 PM

Haha...heres something the WWE writers would do

12 WWE superstars were currently on the road and got into a horrible accident...

dagget Aug 31, 2007 07:38 PM

Eh, everytime they do some kind of "horrible accident" or "fake death" angle, someone always ends up dead for real. :|

mortis Aug 31, 2007 07:49 PM

AH, well...they could make some sort of stable or um, something. Oh yeah, Mike Bucci was released.

dagget Aug 31, 2007 08:54 PM

ROFL, only reason he was released cause he wasn't a big player. It's OK, they've misused him anyway since ECW got bought out. Simon Dean was an "ok" gimmick, but Nova was far superior

Yes, and I'm sure the last thing Vince wants is to have the media and the authorities all over his ass, like with the Benoit incident.

mortis Aug 31, 2007 10:05 PM

THe ironic thing is if he was still a wrestler, he'd still have his job (just have a 30 day suspension).

Slash Sep 1, 2007 12:32 AM

ACTUALLY if Benoit was still alive (if thats what you're referring to Mortis..

none of this would have happened

mortis Sep 1, 2007 12:51 AM

Nah, I was commenting on Simon Dean (AKA Mike Bucci).

Winter Storm Sep 1, 2007 07:20 AM

Simon Dean... what that the health fanatic wrestler with that drink promo??

..And I get the feeling this whole Rey vs. people 450+lbs more than him is a giant slow build up to a fued with Batista, or something. He's still the one of the greatest cruiserweights around.

mortis Sep 1, 2007 10:06 AM

Given that Batista has gone through all the heels on Smackdown! and that they are obviously going with the "Can't get the job done so the face gets super frustrated over not regaining the title to the point he goes nuts and turns" angle, I forsee a Batista Vs Mysterio match in the future.

Slash Sep 1, 2007 06:17 PM

Except, unlike Cena, he still gets massive pops from the crowd.

I would like to see Kane turn again. Even when he was "evil" he got pops...but he makes a good evil person. Give the strap to him, have him go heel and get a good feud going.

Speaking of Kane

anyone think they're going to do that May 19th thing again?

mortis Sep 1, 2007 06:44 PM

Doubtful. Actually, hard to believe it's been a year since the fake Kane storyline...

Slash Sep 1, 2007 06:51 PM

Meh, I think it'd be kind of funny.

And actually the May 19th thing was for See No Evil

mortis Sep 1, 2007 11:29 PM

Release #2 is Eugene. Dunno if this is related to what's going on or not, although I know he got suspended about a year and a half back. Remember when Eugene was red hot three years back? Heh, I thought with the WWE's version of Cletus and kin in the form of a tag team on Smackdown! that Eugene finally have some guys to team with. I do hope "Cletus I and II" are taking a good look at Eugene, the character he portrayed, how far it got him, and where he is now.

ANd oh yes...

Spoiler:

Punk wins gold.
