I watched the Chuunin exams last night. Nice to see Anko holding her neck from time to time. Its good to have fillers here and there that can link back to something and your second time watching say "YAY! It makes more sense!"

And I haven't seen this weeks' anime, but I was told it said

that was just a joke.... not to be an ass ( cause im sure some people would make a big deal about it) but you should read the last few posts . it was something that DB fansubs made up.

And for the record. Miyazaki films are boring me this month. replacing naruto was a big mistake. but whatever.

When Naruto and Sasuke meet again, I do believe they will fight. Why? Because of the events around chapter 234, what Sasuke did to Sakura's emotions. There might be some friendly banter, but it'll be arguing than fighting. It'd take Kakashi to knock some sense into in Sauske (and surprise Sasuke with his ability to use the Mangekyō Sharingan).

Agreed. But i also want Itachi to show up out of nowhere to fight against sasuke. Sakura should just die by him so that the story gets darker

Yeah, but I'd really like to see a real Itachi/Sasuke match. There's been a lot of build-up to it. Not to mention that's Sasuke's sole purpose in life right now: to kill his older brother. For him to die all of a sudden would make a lot of the chapters a waste of space.

That Yamato clone is so gone, though. I imagine Sasuke'll own it with a single attack. Probably a kunai or something.

My question hasn't been answered but, Do you think Sasuke will refuse Orochimaru when he needs his body? I think Orochimaru already obtained it in some crazy jutsu way .

I'm pretty sure Sasuke will end up refusing. Should he manage to kill Itachi, he may fulfill his part of the bargain with Orochimaru, or make a move to. However, words from Naruto or Sakura will more than likely reach him, and he'll betray Orochimaru.

But this is Orochimaru we're talking about here. As you said, chato, he's probaly already got a plan and a crazy-ass curse seal jutsu to keep Sasuke in check.

There are too many Sasuke fanboys to let Kishimoto even consider of Orochimaru taking over his body. Besides, Sasuke is important to the story. I don't see the main cast fighting against Akatsuki while Orochimaru is touching his new Uchiha body.

Anyways, I don't see why some of you thought ep 177 was bad. I thought it was funny. The fillers that are only 1 ep I think are the best. I mean I did love to learn about Anko and other people, but, the long arc fillers are usually VERY sucky overall..... except hinataxnarutoxkiba ones.

He wasn't funny in the first place. The only good moment was when he was sleeping and surrounded by paper balls. But that was an unintentional shot, so it doesn't count. The one-shot filler episodes are just kids humor.

i always thought that one episode where Naruto pictures Jiraiya's face (STRIKE!!) was funny u.u.

Hopefully that means the animation is going to look better, I cut myself off of the filler at episode 163, where the story and animation had reached a (then) new low, why the hell did they do a season of fillers in the first place?

So they wouldn't catch up to the manga? =/ Everyone knows about it. The manga is the guideline in Naruto and the anime can't pass it.


*btw, episode 155 and 156 were the worst episodes in terms of everything

Yeah, but right now the Anime is still now even using Manga chapters that surfaced way back in 2004, more than enough time for a few Naruto volumes to come out. They release episodes almost every week of the year, they should take at least one season off every year to get better quality of the animation (and the inevitable filler). I do believe they had little or now filler before episode 100 (though I never read the manga from chapters 50-234)...

which brings me to my next question : When will the second movie come out ? We all seen the first one I hope. THAT was also garbage . I was hoping we see something good out of kakashi when he was in anbu. Instead. we got like 3-5 seconds of him riding with his animals >.>.

@Chato: The second movie will be released on DVD sometime in April (it's with the knights and castles and shit) and the third movie with the animals will air this summer.

@Sega: Keep in mind that it takes a couple of weeks to make one anime episode, which is two manga chapters. When the fillers are done, they can make one season (26 episodes) at most. The manga is about 30 anime episodes ahead, so it isn't that much. They will definitely make more fillers after the first season of Part 2 or maybe inbetween the episodes.

Fillers were a good idea to enlarge the gap between manga and anime, it's just too bad that they sucked hard.

At least I didn't have to wait to watch most of them, like I do with the manga chapters. The only way to tolerate the filler, is to download it all a once and power through the mess (which is why I don't watch the filler anymore). I'd love to see the reception the filler gets 3-5 years down the road when the Naruto Dub finally airs them.

Showed a bit of Sasuke (his face) but wasn't clear. Now Naruto and his little gang is going in to a cave which Sasuke,Sai and stupid Snake gaylord is hiding in.

Sasuke is still the lameass like he was before the timeskip, but him and Sai have good interaction. Hoping for some good battles in the next chapters.
