That last little flurry was interesting. We're on Argumentus now, right?
|
Ah, I see. So they don't have to worry about it for a while. Will be interesting to see what happens if they run out of sunrods without finding any illumination. Although I guess as long as Bob is around they'll have some light. I have no idea how much though because I have not read that skills description.
|
The light cantrip only has a 4-square radius, so if they run out of rods they'll just have to cluster tightly around Bob like the meatshields they are.

Damage via misadventure? How's that work?
And those goblins sure take a beating. |

I have to mix it up a little, since the smart thing for the goblins to do would be just to sit on the other end of the room and spit javelins at you all day. Boring. |
Goblins have feelings too, you know. They're not just soulless calculating machines. =/
|
And one would imagine that eventually, they'd run out of javelins, unless we started throwing them back of course.
|
Oh, I just got that the thing in front of the northern door is a spent javelin. :)
I gotta say, Pang, you're doing a great job with the atmosphere. |
All right, I'm a bail for about six hours, and then I'll be back for a bit.
Take it easy. NEXT DAY EDIT: Dropped my track. Now I'm off to play footy for a couple hours before work. I should be able to post again before I leave for the pub tonight if we get around to it. |

I know I clicked on it at least twice...
Funny how Bob rolled last in the previous round, and this time he's first. |

Looking over the player's guide has given me a few ideas about my character, but I want to ask in the interests of practicality and fun factor: would it be too much hassle to make my character mute?
I think it would be interesting to see a "leader" character who doesn't speak, but it might cause problems down the line. Has anyone tried this personally? I've pretty much decided that even if he's not mute, I'm going to cripple his charisma to buff strength and wisdom. |
Well, having a Cleric who's unable to speak puts a crimp on a few things; a lot of the cleric powers involve spoken prayers. If you can work around that limitation I don't see a problem with it; if we can deal with a fighter with no weapons, we can accept a cleric who can't pray.

Dysfunctional to the max, eh guys?
|
A wizard who dresses like a woman. A dwarf who quotes movies. Aren't we a team to remember.

I could swing either way, though. A very reserved Cleric works pretty much the same as a mute one for my purposes. I thought it might be funny to see what happens when the more...boisterous heroes don't see Silent Bob motioning them to wait while he inspects the trap door. :tpg: |
Hard to say for sure since I am not the DM, but I have a feeling Shin forgot that no one speaks goblin.
Anyways, how does one determine passive insight and passive perception? The page the character sheet chapter refers to just talks about how passive checks work. Are they both just 10 plus any applicable modifiers? |

Alright, that battle's finally over. Sorry it took so long, the dice just seemed intent on drawing out the clean-up as long as possible. Kill, Kill, Kill, FUCK THIS BUG IS INVINCIBLE

Also I can't seem to update my character sheet, each time I edit the value of the xp it reverts back to the original, despite saving. What's up with that? |
That's strange, it's working perfect over here. Are you using Adobe Reader 8?
|
All right, off for the night. Take it easy, hepcats.
