I've heard that there is some music from both of these that isn't included on any of the released soundtracks, so if it's even possible and anyone has the time, a rip for either/both of these would be great ^o^.

I still have the CD of final fantasy VI. is there a lost track? I hope you mention about the FMV, since my psx has broken already, I only could rip the .xa or .str files.

RE: FFVI Anthology version - I know the song was used during an FMV~ It was a different version of one of the main themes from the game~ (I'll have to look it up if anyone needs anything more specific than that~)

I need a quick rip of the arranged version of Guile's theme. I'm trying to do a rip of the whole thing, but I get a skip in the middle of a couple songs (most notably Guile's arranged theme), and I'm trying to confirm if it's my disc or an inherent error with the game files. If I've just got a bad copy, I might need someone to pull a few of the ADX files for me to replace my files.

Yes, but unfortunately the theme for the final dungeon, Demon Shaft, isn't on it, which is why I figured requesting a rip wouldn't do any harm.

I was wondering if anyone has or will rip the music from Sonic Mega Collection. I realize the music from the games in Sonic Mega Collection has already been ripped from the cartridge versions of the games, but honestly, they sound like crap compared to the clearer and cleaner sound in SMC. I wanted to do it myself with SMC for the PC (released in Europe. I don't live there, but I have it anyways. It's my secret ;) ), but when I tried recording the music from the sound tests, the sound would crackle and studder now and then for no apparent reason. The only apps running were SMC, Adobe Audition, and my AntiVirus.

if anyone can tell me how to cure this problem, do let me know and I will rip the music myself. Or if someone else wants to do it, I can "lend" them my copy of SMC if they don't have a version for one of the consoles already :D

So you're just wanting the music from the cartridge games or the music from the menus, or both? Check the volume on your recording control and make sure you selected Wave/MP3 on the Recording Control. Sometimes if you have the recording control volume too high it'll crackle. If that's not it then I have no idea what it is at this point.
