Well, I happen to still be on my way to bed from a Tales of Legendia binge, so I'll just confirm that I'm using my final energy boost to attack North Carolina and Georgia since Griffin is now dead. With Griffin resigning my ninjas feel so wasted. :(

It appears The_Griffin has bowed out, leaving his spoils to Identity Crisis. Yeldarb survived 2 Ninja attacks yesterday, which must be a first. orion_mk3 is poised to become a Warlord, but I need the results of his defense against Dullenplain first. Plarom sent me his attacks and defenses for today and tomorrow, but he failed to send a number for Louisiana, so if he doesn't send it by the deadline, Dullenplain will conquer that state. For the record, both Identity Crisis and Tritoch were using Ninjas yesterday (though Tritoch's failed an unusual number of times).

The item of the day is the Highly Ineffective Mongoose (HIM).

The HIM is used in the same way Tanks are used, to take 1 country, but the HIM is much more likely to sit around looking cute than actually attack. The odds of a Mongoose conquering a state are only 1 in 3.

I think I'll just go the classic route today. I'm attacking Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Also, my Highly Ineffective Mongoose is going after Missouri. Go my furry, little assassin! Go forth and conquer!

These attacks and items feel so wasted when people just end up dropping out. :(

I like how after 6 versions of this game, we still have people dropping out towards the end because "they don't have time". You'd think they would have figured that out before now.

Since in the past when a player withdrew I awarded their states to whoever was attacking them, I used that philosophy here. Since Tritoch attacked first, he wins the states by default, and he gets the spoils because his Mongoose decided to do its job.
