The Centurion CGI was definitely a bit dodgy. The shots of the space battle were incredible though.

The normal centurions didn't look too bad, but the old-style Cylons had terrible CG effects. Considering there was never more than one or two of them on the screen at the same time it would have been a lot cooler if they'd just used costumes like the old show.

Great ending. It did remind me of the ending of Metal Gear Solid 2, which incidentally was also great. I loved how smug Six and Baltar sounded in the final scene.

I found it as a satisfying ending, I liked how they covered most of the bases at the end, I hate it when shows end right when the story action is over and that's it. Its nice to see some post chase scenes.

Seeing what happens to the characters is great, but spending an extra hour (or whatever it was without commercials) when most of the outcome was clear from the getgo was a bit much. That's not to say I didn't like it, I just thought it was drawn out too long.

I can live with the flaws (the way Cavel's group was wiped out/committed suicide, Starbuck not knowing she was an angel, ditching all of the technology) because I really liked the overall concept of "history repeats itself". And I might possess the genetic power to grow my very own Adama-stache.

adama puked everywhere and then went on a job interview long enough to get pissed at a lie detector test

the ONLY good thing about those flashbacks was Saul Tigh at the titty club. Saul Tigh screams at titties!

Great ending, too bad I hate any and all ends.

Haha, seriously, this finale was a fucking joke. There was a lot of shooting, a lot of scenes in the strip club and a lot of other nonsense. The last time I watched a disastrous ending like this one was when I almost fall asleep in the theater during the last twenty minutes of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Yeah, it had the "oh hey it's over oh wait no it isn't" thing going on quite a bit.

It could have been better, but it wasn't awful. One of the only TV finales I've seen that I can actually say was satisfying.

So you considered this great ending and the LEGENDARY ending of Return of the King to be disastrous? Why?
