I'm totally with you on saffron city, I loved that one. If it doesnt come back you could always build it but it'd still be missing that awesome random pokemon door =( |
I disliked the Temple stage because of the camera issues: too much zooming + health meter right in the fucking way.
|
Nice update, but good god they need to confirm the 64 levels. I want Peach's castle back!

But, if you watched the videos of the Brawl game play that was recorded at that E3-for-all event, the damage percentage and character icon becomes transparent whenever it touches one of the players, so that problem has been fixed. Speaking of those E3-for-all Brawl videos.... was I the only one that was irritated by the people playing? Talk about a bunch of scrubs! Constantly ignoring items, horrible fighting skills.... An inexperienced 12 year old could kick their asses! The videos brought me more irritation than satisfaction. |

Even watching videos from some of the "celebrated Melee players" playing Brawl made them look pretty amateurish. It'll take more than a couple of 2-minute time matches to gain proficiency with the game. Anyway, inline with today's update, I have to agree with whomever said they'd like to see revamped stages from the original game. Saffron City, or the larger Corneria/Great Fox would be awesome. |

Anyway, wouldn't it be funny if tonight's update went something like this: Quote:

Indeed. *sighs* Oh well, at least there's other Wii games to tie us over. Like Radiant Dawn or S.C Legends.

Anyway, today's update tells you how to create a friends list before setting everything up before battling online. Quite frankly, it's a lot to post, so check it out yourself. It sort of satisfied my curiosity on how the online battling part would work, but I'm still feening for more info on the actual content of the game, just as long as it's nothing that has to be unlocked. |
Well, this was gonna happen sooner or later. This' assuming anybody would be willing to challenge people online.
|
I like Nate's message. =)
"Real men use items!" Sass is brawling =D |
My response to Nate: "You're a fucking pussy for using items."
Anyway, they really are just milking it now. ::sigh:: IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT TODAY. ARGH. |

Sass is only mailing out all those hats and scarves to avoid suspicion over her advance copy of Brawl! |
I lol at "Grit" aka another name for Liberals (Main party colour: Red) for Mario XD
|
lol Well, it can't be helped Chaotic. As much as I'd also like it to come today as well. The game wouldn't be totally finished. Plus that only some of the features would be implemented. And only at 22 characters.
Wouldn't you want this game in it's finished stage. With like 30 or so characters and all features. |
There's some famitsu links that give a general "I knew this already" but important fact that says there are a lot more characters than people imagined. 35 or less is actually a stingy estimate. I predict 40 slots in all.
|
Wow, 30+ characters eh? That's way more than C.o.N Revolution's 20, muchless Bleach's 32 character roster.

Feel like... You know, sharing? :eye: |
Yeah dude, do you have the link that says this?

I'd tend to agree that the roster will be 35+. We have 23 characters revealed so far, and several shoe-ins that haven't (Falcon, Jigglypuff, Luigi and I'm convinced that Ness is still around). Furthermore, with the events update, it seems most likely that all the characters revealed thus far are available from the very beginning (with the possible exception of the 2 third party chars).
With a bigger main cast (melee had 24 total characters IIRC), I'm sure the unlockables will be expanded as well. So yeah, I'd say 40 sounds about right for this installment. |

Mewtwo is the worst character in the game. Either way, Jigglypuff is way too good of a character to lose. Either way, she's been the first easy unlock ever since the first one, so I don't see why she wouldn't return under the same conditions. And I doubt her moveset would change much... There's not a whole lot you could change off of that anyway. |
If you go back and re-read the sentence that you bolded, it said one of the worst. I, personally, think Ice Climbers was the worst character(s), but it's all a matter of opinion, honestly.
|
Yes, and I respect your opinion.
But I actually like using the Ice Climbers... Ever since I learned how to wavedash, they've been a crapload of fun to use since you could just glide across the stage with them. But taking that tier list to heart, I do have to agree that Mewtwo is horrible. Worst Down+A smash attack in the game since it only goes in one direction, and for being one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game, he's KOed awfully easy. |
While I totally hate the strict tier system wannabe "professionals" advocate, I am highly, HIGHLY amused (although completely unsurprised) by everyone's complete and utter stupidity regarding game mechanics here.
There's a LAWL ITEMS post half way up this page. On the 66th page of the thread. Do we REALLY NEED TO GO THERE AGAIN? For the love of Christ. We get it. Some of you want to pretend you're professional. Shut the hell up, no one gives even half a shit that you're some Dylan Tnga wannabe. And there's Divest going around like he's actually played the game before. Lick my fucking balls, cockclown. Stop going around like you have any clue what you're talking about. Joe did a good job debunking your old post, and now you're talking about Jigglypuff's validity as a useful character. Good fucking Lord. Why must every large thread degenerate into this garbage. It's like some sort of unholy combination of 15 different kinds of bullshit in here. |
