I'm going to guess Star Ocean EX. Pics seem to have an RPG element and I recall there being a space ship in the show. Haven't seen much of the show though, so I could be wrong.

After checking the entire thread, which was an exhausting job to verify that I won't post repeated pictures, I found one. Although I only have this picture because I can't find my DVD with the series, I'll provide as many hints possible. I don't expect this to be an easy guess.
