What luck!

Well, since I didn't prepare anything (as that guess was just a shot in the dark), I just pulled this one out quickly after evaluating a couple of images. This isn't intended to be an obscure image of the anime, but as I'm not sure as to how high profile the show is, I thought I'd throw it in to test the waters.

my guess is Aria, although the style doesn't seem to quite fit. there was a scene like that where all the cats gather for a meeting

I'm guessing that's from Studio Ghibli's The Cat Returns (猫の恩返し / Neko no Ongaeshi). I haven't seen the anime, but I have read Aoi Hiiragi's manga from which it was based upon. There was a scene like that when all the cats came to pick up Haru.

That looks like it might be the travelling gypsy troupe that Yoko hangs around with a little bit in Twelve Kingdoms. If so, then excellent choice, ;)

Hehe, thats okay. I love that series, so a lot of details stuck really well in my head. :)

Was it from Witch Hunter Robin? I think I remember seeing that face in the opening. (The show I previously posted was Sousei no Aquarion, so technically Ustesar had it :P, Gave the turn away before he got it so I guess it didn't matter anyway :P)

I'm guessing xxxHolic, but then again I only read manga. XD Looks like that witch lady in it. I don't even know what Animax shows.

Animax is a broadcaster (channel).

Hint : Recent and animation is a little colorful on the characters.

I'm guessing Tsubasa Chronicle? It's still a hunch on the xxxHolic lady though.

Is it from Demonbane? The characters are quite colorful in that show.

Hint 2 : Its in the opening and shows for a split second. Once again : Colorful and bright.

Its part School Life, Comedy and touch of action. I dont have another image so if this doesn't work out, I'll give up the answer and have someone else get the chance to post one.

That person reminds me of Arcueid from Tsukihime, but Tsukihime doesn't seem to fit the last few clues.

I know that it's from the opening of a show that I've checked out recently and that's what's really bugging me. If I had my anime with me I woulda found out what it was :(
I'll guess that it's Magikano based on the clues. (heading back home in a few hours, if you haven't given up the answer or no one else got it, then I'll find out what it is and repost :P)

Checked it again, It's from Kamisama Kazoku's opening theme. I knew I remembered that face somewhere :P
