I can only imagine the number of characters that will show up in this game verses the other super smash serie...the number just keeps on getting bigger 0-0. (I was disappointed for Nintendo for a long while until I saw this...very happy...indeed). I hope for more Earthbound characters...one isn't suffice! Or King Dedede...come now a Kirby game isn't complete without King dedede. But yes...if there will be square influences...Geno must show up (Ahh super mario RPG)

Hells yeah! I'd vote for Prime. With the 2007 live action Transformers movie just over a year away, I wouldn't discount the possibility.

That was a special deal for that game, Mobius One. I'm pretty sure you aren't going to see Transformers or Barbie in SSBB because they aren't videogame characters.
I'm sure there will be an English page up in the future. Unless you suddenly decide on learning and typing something in Japanese to submit. But I ran the page through Excite and basically it breaks it into 3 categories you can submit ideas for and those are characters, music, and I'm guessing items, levels, etc. as the other category. Then it asks you for details and you can type up to 1000 characters and for Japanese that is a lot of information that could be submitted so that's pretty awesome. Oh and the first field asks for your nickname or online handle I'm guessing. Just check it out yourself.

It seems he might publish ideas editted if need be on his smash bros website which is pretty cool. I really hope an English version of this is made and they hire some smart guy to look through them and send the best submissions to Sakurai.

With Nintendogs basically being Nintendos biggest game since Pokemon, I was expect a playable Nintendog character, not just an item. This is cool though.

I hope it has Megaman or Megaman X and Zero, Pacman, Bomberman, Master Higgins, Simon Belmont, Alucard, Sonic, Tails, Rayman, Viewtiful Joe, and Alex from River City Ransom (I can dream). I think my list is fairly realistic as these are fairly traditional characters. Square has been in good relations with Nintendo again so I don't see it improbable to have Crono or Cloud, Vincent, and Sephiroth. You win even if you hate FF7 because you'd get to beat the crap out of those characters. It would even seem possible to have The Prince roll a giant katamari by as an environmental kind of like the Nintendog. However, I don't think you're going to see characters like Kratos or The Prince of Persia.

God Pacman's super power could be hilarious. Turn everyone blue and eat them. Waka. Waka. Waka. ='D

Agreed. This E3 is the hugest ever! Not only does each system now have its own killer app, but each system's games are generating cross-system interest from even the hardest core of single system fanboys. (Did that even make sense?)

I'm going to get PS3 when MGS4 comes out, but until then I think I'll get myself a Wii for SSB and Metroid. Oh god, I'm going to need so much money! Who's up for a bank/casino/museum heist?

Australia doesn't even have monthly game sales numbers released, I have no idea how well Castlevania does here. It sells like 200,000 on average in the US. Might as well put the Trace Memory chick in the game, and someone from Eternal Darkness. Or Viewtiful Joe. Then again, nobody knew who Roy and Marth were either (outside of Japan), and nobody cared. =D

... oh yeah, and I just remembered about Pit. Nobody will have heard of him either. I take back the reasoning behind my original comment! I still don't think Castlevania will have a presence though. (and I don't want it to)

Seriously, of all things, a fart? I thought Nintendo liked keeping things generally clean and PC, and this hurts that a bit... I mean, he never farted in WarioWare, or in any of his games prior to that.

Then again, Snake's in it, and given the hardcore seriousness of his games, I don't think they care about timelessness anymore. Hopefully we'll advantage from this.

But his special would be hilarious. Imagine a giant pacman just eating the entire screen full of flashing characters.

Screw Square and Castlevania. Let's think about other Konami franchises. Vic Viper... Goemon, Pyramid Head or Heather... Twinbee... someone from Contra?

Oh god, I just now got to see the hires trailer (thank you, Acer <3), megaupload was so slow to transfer.

I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard (and probably tears of happiness) and can hardly contain my excitement. The game already looked so inviting, but then outta nowhere suitless Samus <3, her beam sword looks awesome, even though I have no idea where that came from, it still works.

The trailer was good, but it's still a SSB game, so I doubt that I will like it much. I'll give it a try though, but it's more or less going to be the same as the first two, except with supers and a few new characters.
