The problem being this is more or less a permanent change to the forums, and we've generally frowned on doing that sort of thing in the past.

(Such as when people go to quit and try to edit all of their posts to nothing we'll remove their editing privileges.)

Can you not reverse that then?

I wasn't sure either way, hence not just going ahead and trying it out...
