Wah??? LOL. I'm no stranger to sarcasm. ;)
|
But you're a stranger to community events.
|
Yup, other then the sight crashing awhile back, I've never heard of anything like what started a few days ago, I thought it was some "permanent" change that the Admins were trying out.

CHz, I regret not making those final breaks on people piggy banks. My purse had plenty of room. Plenty! My goal of obtaining most holy, most greedy, and most generous were what mattered to me and to that I was highly successful. Go me. These new stats are just a peach. I had no idea that many people were gunning for me. It certainly makes sense but woowee to see it in numbers and comparatively so. I definitely took quite a walloping. I love you too, guys. |
Ran a couple more queries, breaking down blessings and smites for the top dolers out.

Awesome, my bullying gave me a nice win/loss ratio. In that respect, yevheniy and Bigblah are to be applauded for winning without bullying!
It kinda figures Rogues were the best class. Neither fighters nor wizards had long staying power. Rogues on the other hand operated like weaker versions of fighters once MP was exhausted, so the slaughter can continue. I'm curious to know the users who were the most good and most evil. Not in the terms of how much alignment was gained on either side, but in the current alignment points (reddest and greenest border). :3: |
Alignment was capped, so that won't be terribly interesting. But I can calculate the raw differences.
Most Net Alignment Points:
Least Net Alignment Points:

Somehow I'm not surprised that I was smote the most. I didn't even have to PM Nuts & Bolts screenshots to Skills to take first place!
|
Haha, stats are fun. I even made one of the lists, despite my indifference which settled in about 18 hours in.
Personally, I would probably go into unrestrained panic if my sight just randomly crashed. |
How do draws work? My understanding was that battles are taken in turns, so it's impossible for a knockout blow to be dealt simultaneously.
Or is it a case of both parties attacking each other at the exact same time, and winning in each of their respective battles? |
I capped the number of attack rounds so that the script wouldn't run forever, so a draw happened whenever that limit was hit and both people were still alive. I think I left it at 20; I probably could've bumped it up further. Out of 22,457 battles, there were only 52 draws.
|
CHz can I have a list of folks with the best stash records? =D
|
Ahhhh, that explains it.
I bet those draws were wizard-on-wizard duels, with both sides healing I espect Acerbandit to have accumulated a princely sum in his gold bags at one point. Hard to believe that someone so larcenous would also have the highest number of alignment points! :tpg: |
Why would wizards be healing each other? Did they have a secret alliance?
We rogues didn't have any secret alliances - if you were in a fight with another rogue it was a fight to the death.... I know this because I was usually the dead one :( |

Hell yes, I was on most beloved and most hated by the gods. I don't even remember who was smiting me every other minute when I was killing everyone in the welcome area.
|
I have to repeat what everyone else already said: these year's April Fool's was pretty awesome. Thanks to everyone who put a lot of effort in it.
I am already looking forward to April 2010 :) |
I loved this year's April Fool's. I also love how I made it onto a top ten list! That was a surprise. =D
|
God thanks for this shit. I wish it'd been easier to see random encounters, but when there was the whole "GOD THIS FIGHTING THING IS ADDICTING," I can't really complain.
Sad that I didn't see any of the Phantasy Star encounters, though. |
Just want to say great job to all the people who worked to put this event together. 'Twas fun. :)
|
Yeah, I ablsolutely didn't expect this and I have to say it was quite a bit of entertainment. The atmosphere was really set by the whole name/color palette change and the word filter which gave us all quite a few laughs.
I can't believe I was actually most evil right after packrat. I'm honored. |
Yes! made the top ten for Best Win/Loss Ratio! That is pretty cool. Ok, I was a bit of a bully as well...
