I'm online as Kilometers. I've only been playing with strangers so far. I'd really like to play with you guys using the headsets since no one else seems to do it. I'm sure if we formed a team and used communication we could do pretty well.

I found that my performance online varies. Some games I've joined I end up being 1-3rd place in score. While sometimes I'll join a game and just do terrible for some reason. Right now I'm level 2.

My headset is yet to arrive :o Sux.. :(

CQC3 is way more useful than Blades 3. I mean, throat slitting is incredibly satisfying, but there's no bigger wtf moment when you run up and disarm someone leaving them with no weapon in hand to protect themselves.

So I'm level 4, but I'm only at 9 hours of gameplay. Nowhere near 20 hours, and won't be anytime soon it looks like :/. Anyone get a chance to create a clan yet?

When you disarm, every weapon he has = gone? Or just the primary/equipped one? Got Blades to 3 as well. Working up to Sniper Rifle 3 now :)

all these techniques sound very interesting. I never really got around leveling up my techniques in the beta so i may jump in tonight and finally try out the real thing.

I did have a problem with cod4 though, everytime I hook up my mic it makes the game lag terribly. I really hope mgo doesn't do this

I'm the shit at CQC since I can like, hold down R1.

I not only hold R1 but also left or right along with it, its the shiznat.

I just finished playing my first official match and I'm not sure if it was because I was fiarly decent with the beta or if both teams sucked because i was able to to do things like spot a person with stealth in my first try, cqc a few people, actually get headshots!, and be on the top of the list after a match. All without using Auto-aim (I used to use auto aim all the time in the beta =0) and actually getting some good shots in.
I must have been lucky because I'm never good at online games. I'll just take advantage of the moment and go kill more idiots who run around in the open.

Oh and activating my blutooth drops my bars in an instant and lags like theres no tomorrow. Seriously.

This will make me a winner anyway, since I hate that feature in any game.

edit: (Wouldn't it be great if/is there) a mode where one person goes single against multiple people, trying to be a true Snake and needs to get rid of the other people, with some advantage?

i usually like that feature for easy kills but I decided to leave it off during the main single player game so i can get some practice with it since I was also practicing so that when I get online since I found that you can empty two full clips with auto aim and amount to almost nothing, and it payed off I guess since most of my kills so far have been headshots.

oh on I found out about the camera. If we ever get that clan started we must take a group shot or something


EDIT: Snake vs. Everyone? that was in mgs3 subsitennce I think and it sorta freakin rocked unless the person controlling snake didn't know what he was doing and got caught within seconds

Well I'm a big fan of snipers when I finally got a good one, and since then I haven't been touching my M4 Custom very much at all (single player, that is).

Getting online with GFF will be fucking fun though, so someone better start a clan.

Have they fixed the SVD? Because none of this means shit when you take 1/4 damage from one body shot.

Nope, still the same. Groin + Head = 1 shot madness.

Are you using wireless? It might be the bluetooth interfering with the wireless signal. This has happened to me many times with the sixaxis controller, when downloading stuff or just trying to use the internet connection it would lag like crazy and the download even stops, but once I turn off the controller or plug it in, everything goes back to normal. This doesn't happen to me all the time though, and I don't think it ever happened with my bluray remote.

has anyone seen anybody with a fox or foxhound rank? i've only got two ranks so far, bee and water bear. I'm trying to get the eagle rank but i'm gonna have to start owning everyone in every game i play.

No, no. And those are valid uses. I mean people running around with the thing not zoomed firing body shots that take upwards to a quarter of your life away. The thing was easily better run and gun than most automatic weapons.

Well in that case, its still not fixed. I still get 1/4 of my life taken away with some mad people firing the SVD all over.

I've played a few hours and was much impressed over the MGS3 multiplay. The over the shoulder view makes it much more playable and being able to play in the Middle Eastern themed levels are my favorite. I must play this more.

two hours into playing mgo and I'm in level 2 so far. I am so addicted to this now since its not only fun but it creates some memorable moment. Like when I caught this one guy in a cardboard box and I chased after him, he went into a corner and pretended to be a normal box and he thought I didn't see him so I ran to him prepared with my gun when I noticed one dude in my back chasing me so I ran past the box guy and rolled, the guy in back of me followed while the box guy jumped out and tried to cqc me but instead caught his teammate and dropped him to the floor while I took them both out. Priceless :tpg:

I also tried out the new mode which was mentioned and that was a lot of fun, stealth still has its disadvantages which is a good thing I just hope they bring back some other modes like snake vs everybody like grawl mentioned before.
Oh and I finally got a chance to sneak people with snake, and now that I knew what I was doing it was awesome, I lost 4 seconds before the match ended ;_;

I still havent been able to play as snake :( how sad...

I thought I killed quite a good amount of people seeing as I'm at the top of the killing list after a match. Or does it mean that my aim just sucks and I miss fire most of the time ~_~

The only ones that I got would be for getting trapped with magazines often and for getting headshots often (receiving end.. lol)

I got caught in a trap like two times from some guy playing as snake, he kinda knew what he was doing.
Also I've been dying a bit much lately, looks like my luck in this game has run out. Still i don't know why I have a Pigeon since i heard you need to stun or tranquilize people and I've only done that like less than 10 times while my Kill ratio is a lot higher than deaths

Edit: has anybody received some awards, All I have are 3 consecutive head shots and 5 consecutive kills. I'm wondering if there are any "goof awards" like staying in a box for a certain amount of time or some kind of strange kojima stuff

I reached level 3 around my third hour and now I'm in my sixth and still in level 3. Now I see why some people are in such a low level with an incredible amount of hours.
I think I saw someone in level 1 with 18 hours @_@
I've been neglecting the knife and from what I hear it can be a handy weapon when it's leveled up. So I'm trying to use it lots more and now that I'm playing with a few more experienced people its becoming more of a challenge but at least my kills are higher than my deaths unlike cod4 ^^;
Oh and I have a new award 2 consecutive survivals in tdm. Hoorah =0
Anyways I'm still up for the clan if anyone ever starts it
