Using some skyscraper sleuthing, and the nearby geography, I'm going to guess that the tower off in the distance is the Tuntex 85 Skytower in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Great Hall-Mosque in Riyadh looks alot like this building, this could be an old picture of Riyadh - KSA..

No, this is a relatively recent picture of that mosque; though the actual date I am unsure of.

I did notice that, albeit after I had already posted. The architecture looks distinctly American, though, and the highest-density city in the country immediately came to mind. Am I allowed to guess again? Because I had a strange feeling it might have been Chicago.

I'm not sure if you're allowed to guess again but it doesn't really make a difference. It's not Chicago, and it's not in America for that matter either.
