They just couldn't give better information could they? While this update is interesting and all, couldn't they tell us something other than a detail about gameplay mechanics? |
Patience Servbot. I like the slow trickle. Makes me even more psyched about the game. Have any other games used this format? Blog about releasing details?

Using the Final Smash will be awesome. Awesome and possibly cheap, depending on who you are. :D (Still wants another EarthBound character.) Quote:

Another update and this one looks like it's linked with the one from yesterday (movement while using projectile weapons). The name? Cracker Launcher

Wouldn't be surprised if adjustment are really slow and this thing is heavy or something (which is my impression while looking at these). Quote:

OK, sorry I was complaining. I guess I am a little hyped too.
That launcher is awesome! I will probably be using that one a lot. |
Metal Sphere, just so you know, Control Stick means the left analogue stick. I'm guessing that means you can't use most A attacks while holding this weapon.

Cracker launcher?
Huh? Launches firecrackers, but what game is it from (or is it just for fun?)? This actually scares me a little. Previously the only item that wasn't related to a nintendo game was the motion sensor bomb (but it was close enough!). Are they adding items just to beautify the game now? |
Launch whitey! Looks like its an original. I'm guessing its like the hammer, you pick it up it starts firing but you can jump/run around/change angle.
|
Hard to say. It could be from some obscure Japanese-only release. Either way, as long as it's fun, I don't think it really matters what the items are from.
And this one certainly looks fun. |

The firecrackers may be from Super Mario RPG or something. (Can't you get firecrackers in Mole Town on SMRPG? I can't remember...) |

Bumper - Could be Pinball Cloak - Got me Ray Gun - Starfox Capsule - Like SSB crate Paper Fan - I KNEW this was from something . . . Beam Sword - Bleh? Okay, so maybe not EVERY item, but darn close! |
In which Starfox game does the ray gun appear...? Seriously, not trying to catch you out on anything; I'm wondering if I'm wrong.
|
It's probably on his character art or something.
|
Yup. Several shots have blasters, even if you never hold one in a game. Yeah, I know it's a longshot.

Delfino Plaza looks like a nice open place for far attacks.
And isn't the Cloaking Device from Perfect Dark on the N64? |
Holy shit Falcon punched!!!! =O
|
For one brief moment, Black Shadow looks happy that he had the honour of being Falcon Punched right in the gob. =)
|
So Delfino Plaza is basically Mute City for Brawl. I like.
No more updates until Monday. :( MY LIFE IS BROKEN. |
Ack! Weekend dropoff! Heh.
It seems like a lot of the levels are going to go with the "flying platform against pretty background" method. From what I've seen of that Meta-Knight level it's the same thing. Not that I'm opposed to it. I always wanted a toggle to turn environmental deaths off to ensure that skill killed you and not chance. That's why Final Destination was the most popular arena for fighting. Obviously they relaized that for Brawl. I just hope it doesn't lead to boring levels. I'm not really worried though . . . heh. |

Also, the "cloaking device" is the Blue Hat from Mario 64, isn't it? The one that turned you invisible so you could walk through certain mesh walls. |
