Nope, not Haibane Renmei or Basilisk, though both are good guesses.

Only association that comes with crows is Nrvnsqr from Tsukihime, but Tsukihime was probably much darker than this.

Nope, not Tsukihime either. Though, i'm not sure if Tsukihime is darker than this show, at least what I'm told/what I've seen of it. (Haven't watched the whole thing yet)
