Damn right I am. I was never happy with all the other metroid levels...but I like how this one is shapin up. I think I'll call it the Rape Tube.

Chaotic Nov 12, 2007 02:03 AM

Another Semi-useless update.

lol, I doubt it'll be AO. At the least, it'll be a T rating, as with Melee's T rating.

The_Griffin Nov 12, 2007 06:44 AM

Whooooosh!

Chaotic Nov 12, 2007 12:21 PM

Realizing what the hell kind of picture I just posted... Damn, that sword is going straight for her cootch.

Gives a new meaning to the term "fire crotch"

Congle line of abuse. Or is that conga-line. Or congaline. Nov 12, 2007 01:55 PM

Someone needs to make a Yeast Infection joke or I'm going to kvetch.

Chaotic Nov 13, 2007 02:02 AM

I was honestly hoping it would be an update that would make the internet explode.

Instead, characters now have three different taunts.

immp Nov 13, 2007 02:06 AM

Oh hey...I remember when they told us about this a month ago.

Amayirot Akago Nov 13, 2007 02:12 AM

SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!

Meh update somewhat made better by the captions and screens.

Dopefish Nov 13, 2007 07:16 AM

I wonder if you can hold some poses...not that you'd want to for terribly long, but Snake hiding in a box for 10 seconds sounds like less a gag if Wario farts on you.

Nall Nov 13, 2007 08:46 AM

At least all of Link's taunts are better than his old one, and as long as Mario can still grow-taunt with a super mushroom I'll be happy.

It needed to be said again.

Remember folks, the game isn't out for over 2 months. There won't be 85974923574325 characters in it, you're going to get some boring updates.

kuttlas Nov 14, 2007 02:33 AM

False alarm, Ness un-unconfirmed.

So until now, I’ve always made sure to include handicaps in each game in the series.
So I guess Sakurai doesn't know what until now means.

Oh, and some shit about handicaps.

Now, I’ve also kept the auto-handicap feature. This gradually increases the starting damage for the winner of the match.
YES. I love this feature. I wonder if it'll be available for online matches...

Perhaps implement an automatic handicap for the fags that turn their Wiis off when losing. When they turn off, they automatically start at 300%!!! :D

immp Nov 14, 2007 03:07 AM

A cool no need for super sudden death then.
I kinda wish he'd included the old style too. Made for some interesting game types. Like teams with one teammate much weaker so you have to defend yours while trying to kill the other team's weakling. I guess thats out now then.

wvlfpvp Nov 14, 2007 10:25 AM

Umm . . . he did. Or did y'all miss that where you point to character and ratchet up their starting damage.

Chaotic Nov 14, 2007 10:33 AM

I think he meant with the whole everyone starts at the same damage level, but depending on the handicap, your character would either be stronger or weaker.

Either way, I personally don't see the point of handicaps. Why can't people just resort to good ol' ass kicking to learn how to play the game? No one said you were gonna win on your first try anyway, so why not just work your way up like a good majority of us did?

wvlfpvp Nov 14, 2007 10:35 AM

But the pictures CLEARLY SHOW Mario having 0% and Lucas having 50%.

Chaotic Nov 14, 2007 10:38 AM

We know that! But in Melee, you should know (if you've played it), the handicap system was completely different than the system they're implementing in Brawl.

In Melee, handicap changed your character's strength, as opposed to Brawl, which just gives you a set amount of damage as a handicap instead of changing your character's strength level.

wvlfpvp Nov 14, 2007 10:57 AM

I dunno, I always ignored handicap.

Dalkaen Nov 14, 2007 11:07 AM

Yeah, I don't think I ever used handicaps at all.

Chaotic Nov 14, 2007 12:33 PM

I never used em' either! Therefore, today's update is utterly useless to the Smash Bros. community.

Noobs will never learn if they don't play on the standard handicap.
