I don't really like the fact that the beam sword "gets really long", also the new colour looks like balls.

Cry me a river. At least it didn't get hit with a Nerf bat. I'm just glad they didn't hit any of them with the nerf bat.

It'll be interesting to see whether their varied home run stances add anything to the fun factor, or if they're not all that noticeable.

Possibly the clock item from Super Mario Bros. 2 that froze all enemies? Just a guess, anyway. Would be interesting to see how that would translate into Brawl.

I'm glad they changed the beam sword. In Melee it only extended a character's attack range a little bit and all you could do was swing it. Mewtwo had a neat twist on it that made it more unique, but at least now it gives you a more tactical advantage.

Awesome. Grey Fox. I have a feeling this may be an off week though 'cause we get Mario Galaxy on Monday and that's enough to keep Nintendo fans happy for a few weeks at least.

Wow! That's freakin' awesome! The screenshots of Gray Fox in action are pretty cool.

I thought the grab update was important. Unlike in melee, it sounds like you can grab while shielding whenever you desire during shield rather than in melee and SSB, you would either tap the shield button to produce a quick shield and grab or just plain grab.

It's gotta be Tails, since he's been there with Sonic since Sonic 2. Only other person I could see being an assist trophy is Robotnik since he's been with the series from the beginning. It'll be a crime if another Sonic character makes it and either Tails or Robotnik do not.

I bet it's going to be one of the awesomely original new characters like Crazy the Walrus. Or Manic the Sheep. Or Berserk the Sperm Whale. Maybe even Storm the Cardboard Box!

I would think that Tails or Knuckles would be the second character to enter the brawl from the Sonic series. If Tails is in, Knuckles is an assist. Vise versa for Knuckles if he were the character.

Would be awesome to see another Sonic character in the Brawl though.

It might be that, or a certain character who has appeared in the Smash Bros. games until now might be just a color swap. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and Ness is dramatically different from Lucas if he is indeed in Brawl.

:( this is very depressing, I really would have loved Ness to be in the game >_< A colour swap would be really cool but at this point I don't think much can be said other than theres now a high chance that Ness won't make the cut.

But personally, I don't see why Ness shouldn't make a return, when Luigi is almost the same story as Lucas.

Luigi started off as a clone of Mario, and then slight differences in attacks are what made them different.

I don't own a Wii, nor did I own a Gamecube, but playing Smash Brothers with my friends was always a riot. But really, I only did it because I got to play as Ness, and in a way, imagine he's on grand adventures kicking the shit out of people after the events of Earthbound.

The adventures have ended.
