Here's a sound file of the final two matches my mom could handle, you can tell she really likes the system and game. She's breathing hard and sweating now. She got so wild she almost whacked the controllers into each other, and she knocked over a bunch of my stuff on my table at one point.

But I just love that my parents had so much fun with it.

That is cool. Same here. My parents came down while my sister and I were playing Tennis. Soon enough my mom and Dad were playing instead. Today while I was at work mym mom played Raymen Rabbids with my sister and loved it. Apparently we are having a Thanksgiving Open for tennis. heh..

So. It appears there are some Wiis still available here, but they are only in bundles.

499.00 for Madden NFL 07, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, GT Pro Series, and Rampage: Total Destruction and some warranties.

I think it would be better to just wait for a restock of unbundled Wiis and buy whatever games I want.

Mine works just fine, although I'm now being overly cautious about system updates until I hear the problem is resolved.

It'll probably be the first of the month (December) or something when updates start taking place (think of the stuff availiable right now including VC games and ect. already there for a while for reviewers and shit) which makes sense because the Japanese release date is right around that time (dont know if it matters or anything) but the timetable makes sense.

Looks like my Wiipoints are going to be saved for another week or so.

anyone get Red Steel? I was wondering about first hand impressions cause reveiws have been mixed. I am interested in getting this one when I get my Wii.

And all this talking about updating etc... Does the Wii have to be updated once you take it out of the box?

Apparently, you have to update the Wii to have the ability to access SD cards and manage data for them (both saves and virtual console games can be copied).. but apparently copying to the SD card has an insanely slow write speed or something. Kotaku put a video on YouTube showing it.

I started looking into setting up a wireless network in my house, cause i'm thinking about getting a laptop, and i think my parents are buying a new computer.

My mom asked me if i wanted a Wii for christmas which is unlike her. I think she might be slightly interested in one, and would be willing to pitch in for one as a christmas present. That'd be really nice, but i remain highly doubtful.

Oh shi the first TurboGrafx games are up? So cool. That was the only reason I was going to bother with the Virtual Console, but it doesn't seem like Australia's going to get that section at all (because the console was never released here, obviously that means we should never be allowed to play the games, ever). ;_;
