I'm in Georgia, just so you know. Distance seems to be a factor for Wi-Fi during the daytime. If anyone adds me, let me know, and I'll return the favor. Going through the Wiki or this thread and adding everyone would take ages.

Today's Update: Full Song List with Secret Songs

Not much to comment about this one.

Haha, I'm in COD4 just to use the pre-game lobby as a voice chatroom. The only issue is the 360 controller turning off after it's been idle for a while, so I make sure to push some buttons in between matches.

Chaotic Apr 3, 2008 12:16 PM

FYI, everyone. Sign-ups for the 2v2 tournament are still open through the course of the 1v1 tournament. Feel free to sign up. :333:

I'll probably start asking people within the next week to start sending in who they want to team up with, so start considering who you want to fight with.

People were, and then we just scattered after that. Near the end, people got grenade happy. :erm:

So how have people been communicating lately while playing SSBB, aside from the forums?

Summonmaster Apr 3, 2008 01:20 PM

I resort to good old MSN for typing in between matches. I haven't yet been spoiled by voice chat or any fancy things like that yet, save for DS stuff. Not like I have a microphone anyways, and even if I did, I'd have my PS3 on simultaneously or something to use it.

Chaotic Apr 3, 2008 01:24 PM

I haven't really chatted with anyone, usually because my internet refuses to work when I'm upstairs playing next to my Wii.

It would be nice to though. :|

Buizel Apr 3, 2008 01:30 PM

For me I communicate via AIM. My brother use Skype and 360 private chat. lol

I had to re-add everybody from the Wiki page at one point and it only took me about 30 minutes to do so... less if you skip adding in their profile name (since the game will correct it when the registration confirm).

Anyway, I'll add you. :)

Sacred X Apr 3, 2008 02:00 PM

The Wii is in a different room than my computer, so I often don't chat. From time to time I'll peek at the computer to see if whoever I'm playing with said anything, and I might quickly respond.

That's not so bad. There's no guarantee that anybody would return the favor and add me, though... :eagletear:
I still have like five "Awaiting Registration" things on my list from people I added two weeks ago. People I thought would add me right away, at that.

Part of the reason I haven't signed up for the 2v2 tournament is because I haven't played with anyone here yet, so my teammate would probably just be whatever other person doesn't have one by the time everyone else is paired up. It'd be like getting picked last in gym class or something. Not to mention that there's currently 22 people on the list (I think, might've been 24), and I don't want to mess it up by being the odd number.

Buizel Apr 4, 2008 09:51 PM

I guess people are busy the past couple of days or didn't feel like posting their latest Brawls.

Anyway, I got my LAN adapter. Hopefully this will make a small difference in online Brawl. :tpg:

Summonmaster Apr 5, 2008 02:13 PM

All right, did another standard "Added everyone on the wiki" thing, although I'm at capacity now. If you still have "Awaiting Registration" from me, then please PM!

No one's ever online :/ I leave it on for hours and the list remains unchanged! You'd think with thi many people, someone would coincide times.

Sacred X Apr 5, 2008 02:43 PM

Whenever I go on, there aren't many GFFers on either. If anyone wants to battle, just get me on AIM or MSN.

So what's all this about the console locking up after matches. I assume this is one of the games features, knowing Nintendo. Four times now it's done this. Getting a little old, here.

A++ would play again.

Laughing forever at Pits over and b though. A++ would abuse again.

Chaotic Apr 5, 2008 02:47 PM

Locking up after matches? Never heard of that happening before.

Your system must be weird, Tails.

And as for matches this week, probably a crapload of people are busy as hell. Lots of downed Internet stories and just being plain busy with life. I'll probably pop on later tonight if anyone wants to battle also.

Tails Apr 5, 2008 02:48 PM

It's pretty funny. It's all LAWL ERROR CODE and then becomes totally unresponsive and I have to unplug the damn thing.

Sounds more like your system than the game itself.
Worst I have is input lag when playing online. Dunno why they took the wi-fi route when it goes bad for this game. I swear it's a ploy to get people to buy the lan adapter...:gonk:

Tails Apr 5, 2008 02:54 PM

It keeps giving me this code, and it sounds entirely too ambiguous to be a specific system issue.

Basil Apr 5, 2008 03:03 PM

My console doesn't lock up either. Maybe your Wii's connection to your router isn't working properly - or it's an old router.

Mo0, what's with your taunts :tpg:

I'm a bit surprised I won most of those matches, however. I must have had more practice or something - or we should turn off Final Smash Balls. =L

What was up with all the Final Smash Balls anyways? Don't be so surprised that you won though, Mo0 is garbage at everything and this is only my third time playing the game so I know jack shit. That's why when I was Lucas I was just standing there swinging the bat like a moron. Pretty funny how many times I hit Mo0 with it too.

Also my router is a newer Netgear that's yet to have any read problems with either Xbox Live or my DS/PSP playing online, so it's not that.

Your setting is probably set on high, Tails. Kick it down to low or turn items off period.

On Low, they rarely ever show up. At least for me.

Interestingly enough, it was in Mo0's room where we had ten million FSB's, unless by some bizarre order of events non-host people can change the item rules.

No clue what causes the system lock-ups. A friend of mine has to go back to the Wii Menu after a match freezes for him, but I just get thrown back to the game's main menu, and sometimes the Wi-Fi menu.

Same case for me. It seems different each time depending on the error I get. I can't see to connect to Miles' games, so I don't know what's happening there. The other participants don't even show up as "brawling". Strangely, every once in while, I just get disconnected from the other players when I do get into a game periodically. No more complaining, I'll just take what I can get :p

In accordance with the title, funny funny matchs with Wolf. No one seems to realize yet that they shouldn't roll into Diddy's bananas back and forth repeatedly XD

What I meant was geared more to the system lock up thing, than the error code. :p
