You know TNA's going to be the "go to guy" for those who want to work for possibly better people. But WWE has that Marcus dude, and Jeff came back from there, so maybe TNA isn't exactly "wwe wrestlers' utopia".
Reviving..WCW. I wonder if Eric ever gave it a thought. |
His contract almost up?
Forgot to mention it but about a month ago I saw Rhyno on some cheesy Mexican wrestling show, all Spanish. Fucking ring looked like it had been used for a boxing match beforehand. Probably an old show. |

Yeah, I practically shit a brick when I saw Monty Brown on ECW.
TNA really isn't that great a company to wrestle for. Outside of the lack of travel, they really don't compensate their athletes too well. I mean look at Konnan. He had to go to fans to get donations for his kidney problems. |

Good God man. Cene's like the new Hogan of this era in terms of kids loving him so much they keep the fucking belt on him. Except that it was a lot easier to pull this sort of shit twenty years ago.
|
Not to mention, Hulk Hogan was awesome whereas Cena just isn't as awesome. Seriously, who can stop Cena? He's gone through pretty much everyone who's main event material in the Raw roster.

WWE is a huge downward spiral. Now with someone who plays favorites in charge of hiring and firing, it's only a matter of time before TNA (if they can let other people have air time too) or maybe even ROH rates better and people would rather watch that than the same sad ass WWE shit. |
Edge should have cashed in his briefcase on Cena instead of Taker. I'd rather have Edge as a champion than Cena. I mean, he's entertaining and all, but enough is e-fucking-nough.

I actually liked the Edge/Cena angle. It made Cena entertaining for once.

Johnny Nitro and Kenny Dykstra are a tag team now? I've gotta say, that almost sounds promising. Good to see Nitro back though, I was afraid he was gone.
|
I'm surprised Benoit tapped out, but Michaels too? Holy fuck. Was he a heel at the time or what?
|
HBK is ones of those people who can turn heel at the drop of a dime and then go back to face like a minute later. And it's the kind of 'heeling' that isn't meant to piss off fans. That was he was in the match. HBK REALLY does not like Cena at all. Cena is a well lame to me on a whole new level. This is because of what he said on RAW. Cena relies on the STFU now and it's made him overconfident. Khali whopped his ass that whole match, hell he was playing with him. I.E. THE CHAMP CAN MAKE ANYONE TAP OUT. OK Cena, but one thing: ANYONE CAN WRITE A SCRIPT TELLING TOP SUPERSTAR TO TAP TO LAME MOVE. Your last fucking match that was awesome was that I quit match with JBL. And yes it's a mega bummer than HBK tapped at WM23, but he knew Cena cannot beat him straight up(I see the STFU as a cheap ass way to win now) and tried his best to counter him each time he grabbed his foot.
And some of you might have watched RAW, I know I did. Tell me am I hearing things but was Ortan CHEERED for doing what he did to HBK? O_o. As for the concussion. Shawn has doctors from outer space. Someway somehow he comes back everytime when he has a "career-ending" injury. Once again -> Poor Umaga. It will be interesting when he finally gets the gist that he is nothing but a tool for Vince. SuperSonic - that and Haas and Shelton are back. Looks like the WWE is going to try and rebuild the tag team division. :) With Lashely competing on RAW that is yet another sign that the brand split is coming to an end soon. |
I can't say I'm too fond of "The World's Greatest Tag Team". Shelton had some awesome matches during singles competitions, but his best matches have been with the ladder matches (mainly Money in the Bank). He surprised me again at the 07 Royal Rumble. Anyone see him hanging on that bottom rope using only his hands? That was crazy.

Benoit needs to jump ship to RAW and take Cena's ass out. If the STFU is an "unstoppable move", then the Crippler Crossface is instant death.
|
I still can't fucking accept the fact that Michaels tapped out to that shit or ANYTHING. It just goes against the logic I've seen in wrestling for so many years and, if anything, it's a horrible sign of the direction the company is taking.

They've been going down the toilet since the Rock left, if not before.(LOL @ Anakin)

Canadians of that breed should have a contract stipulation against faggot tapouts.
Bret never tapped right? Ever? |
Bret did not tap to Michaels(you're referring to that I bet). Vince merely had the ref ring the bell.
Bret has if I recall tapped to his own move at the hands of Owen Hart. And he should be the only one... damn it's been a long time @_@ I could be wrong. |
I watched the Montreal Scewjob myself and have seen WRESTLING WITH SHADOWS and all that shit. I realize what happened to Bret. But you answered my question anyway, though I have no memory of him ever tapping to Owen. Just getting beat by Own in that silly tournament before Bret would go on to beat Yokozuna for the title. Maybe some sort of victory roll was used?
|
I think Bret has tapped twice in his career.
Storm is right...Bret DID tap to his own move...but from Sting when a heel Sting defended the world title against Hart shortly before Halloween Havoc 99. It was the night after Jarrett last left the WWE (when he dropped the IC title to Chyna). Bret then tapped again to Lex Luger via a single leg crab with Hart more or less selling the leg injury that had occured due to the aforementioned match and what Luger did during that match. |
