Utah sucks.

I've never met anyone. One time, a restaurant that was attached to and had the same name as a theater I was performing at, up near Zion National Park, was graced by the presence of Diane Keaton. I was performing, and didn't get to go see her, but the waitresses got a note from her and autograph and stuff.

One time when I was 12 I e-mailed author Kevin J. Anderson, asking for writing advice. He e-mailed me back a week later giving me the most trite useless advice ever: Keep it up.

I met a very old lady, I can't remember her name but apparently she was in some movies back in the 30's or 40's... she's my director's grandmother. Also his parents are world ballroom champions or something of the sort.

Ben Stein.

I can think of no one else that I can consider 'famous'. However, a wrestling manager, Jimmy Hart, was ogling my mother at a Barbecue restaurant. His head is gigantic.

I saw Jet Li, promoting his game "rise to honor"

I shook hands with Giada Di Laurentiis, the hot italian chef on Food Network promoting her new cookbook. (got my book signed)

I shook hands with Brad Bird, director of the some of the best animated films.. Iron Giant and The Incredibles, (promoting Incredibles DVD.. got it signed too)
Well maybe his name isn't too well known, but his work are.

I forgot about THE MAN! He's one of the people responsible for bringing to America the martial arts I studied. The one and only CHUCK NORRIS.

That's right.

Insert obligatory Chuck Norris joke here.

Seriously though, he and one other American, along with "Pat" Morita (aka Mr. Miyagi) and a couple of the Korean masters of Tang Soo Do were the ones who established the Tang Soo Do federation here in the USA. So he's shown up to a few of my competitions and whatnot.

"Thank you, Chuck Norris!"
"No, thank you, Peter."

I met Lance Berkman, a baseball player, who plays for the Houston Astros. I saw him earlier this year in a cafe one morning. The whole place were pack with old folks, and they had no idea who he was!

I got to meet Don Knotts and Andy Griffith. I was eating at some nice restaurant down in Charelston West Virginia and they were sitting at the table next to us. Don Knotts asked me if I was born in West Virginia or if I was just touring. We had a long descussion about how different this part of the state compared to its more southern parts. Andy didn't say much, he was more so laughing at the joke we were making about the state. Word to the wise, don't make joke about WV unless your from WV.

The only person I recall meeting in person is The Big Show (wrestler). He was in Newark Airport, and my husband shook his hand. My hubby also knows one of the guys from My Chemical Romance. They went to High School together. Frank Iero. And a good friend of ours worked in a comic shop with Mikey Way and played basketball with him.

Now if only I could meet MCR myself..... sorry 'bout all that. I got excited.
