I had 3 wheat as of the previous hand update. I spent one for the settlement. Now I have two. I rolled 8 and netted 2 more. I trade all 4 in for a road.
This is rather confusing when I have to have 3 windows open to look at everything involving the game, and I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I double checked that.
