Alright. I checked with the first chapter of the Manga version. I guess I can understand the difference and interest between both sides here. I'll be honest, I found the manga's introduction alot better than the anime but the TV series version was decent

They shouldn't have cut down the beginning part where Ikki was showing his badass side then seeing the Storm Riders whip his ass. However, accepting the fact that the anime will only be 13 episodes is just pathetic.I'll try and read the next few chapters whenever.

...I still like Ringo's look in the anime >=p.

Just watched episode 07!! (To say the true it was 2 days ago but =P). It was nothing special... only few things about Ikki and Ringo. We know few new stuff about Bucha =). Download torrent should apear in my sig soon so just keep looking =D.

I gave up on this anime once it became clear that TV Tokyo are about using the most stupid ways of censoring shots ever.
Jezz, and I find irony in saying this, but the Japanese realy need to take some lessons from Williams Street and such.

I have been watching the series lately and i have gotten to around episode 5. So far the series is great and is never shy of a few jokes here and there along with good life learned lessons and the importance of following your heart...along with other things like i worry that i am going to get really interested into the series and then end up being dissapointed by how things turn out plot wise with the whole and all that stuff.

hello guys, sup totally new here. it's nice to find ppl that appreciate so firmly that they would like to discuss it thouroughly. though comparing from manga to anime isnt always a must do. i mean there isn't one single anime i know that follow the manga correctly. not to mention illustrations. someone did mention tenjou tenge for example. but it should be better to either read manga first then watch the anime or vice versa. because you could get sidetracked with one or the other. that one could jsut throw in a filler as the anime does or the manga will show what was supposed to really happen. but as soon as the manga is licensed. the producers can do w/e the heck they want with it so hey. theres really not much we can argue about why they changed certain things. hey, we just dont like it. or we do like it. everyone has different opinions. but hey w/e the anime is great. music wise, comedy and some other stuff there. well guys. whaddya say?

Totally agree withn you there. I started reading the manga..Some of you already know what i thought about it so there's no point in going more further with it. If anyone remembers Shiraume's face in that one scene in episode 7.. she's starting to look a little like her manga design there . I just think a few people are lazy to animate or just rushing ... Umm..its been more than 3 weeks.. episode 10 should be out soon but where are 8 and 9 ?>.>;

Well, even so, scanlations of the original version are not going to stop, so that doesn't really matter. Let the publishers change it all they want, the fans will keep it the way the author created it.

I love this series! After watching it, I wanted to go rollerblading again since it's summer time, but my rollerblades don't fit anymore so I'm going to have to get new ones :eyebrow:

Rollerblades are way easier to manoeuvre with on the streets than a skateboard... skateboarding is fun to do tricks and stuff on but not so useful for travelling around

I'm sorry, but I still don't know what you are talking about. If it is about the pages that occasionally come with the chapters in a seperate folder called "Artwork", then I have to tell you that these are not done by the creator of the manga. They are done by fans, for fans.

In case you're talking about the pages actually coloured by Oh!great, then I have to tell you that Ringo only appeared on a cover once so far, and she does, by all means, not look chubby, but rather skinny on that one.

Yes, you're right, she did look a little chubby from a few angles at the beginning of the story. That's quite a normal thing, most manga-kas go through some sort of visual development while drawing a series. There are vey few exceptions to this (20th Century boys, for example).

Now I'd still like to know what colours you are talking about. ò_ò

I respect the fact that every character have different clothes, fine. But for Ringo, i can only accept the ones she has for the anime (she needs to lose that stupid hat though). This is the only one so far.

The soundtrack is still yet to be released, though we're all waiting for it too, so just keep checking and it'll be posted on here eventually.

Yo, im new here but i was wondering if anyone knows the location of episodes 8,9 and 10 subbed. I know they are doing their best to sub it, but ive looked everywhere and can't find them :aargh: regardless.... it was interesting to note that wen downloading a different anime torrent i got trolled and found episode 9 subbed for air gear instead >.>

Tokyo Toshokan would be the first site to have subbed episodes show up. same with baka-updates. I really dont know whats going on with Kyuu-fansubs but whatever. i'd rather have them release those 3 episodes in one day .

This is an interesting series. Can't wait for the soundtrack its great. Haven't read the manga so I don't know how much it diverges. Just wish the episodes were released a bit faster.
