Yes but isnt the Animeigo version kind of hard to find now? Animeigo's license expired or something along the lines so they dont actually distribute/make it anymore.

i remember that i read that they lost the macross license, and all their macross products are now out of print, so eventually you wont find it anyomre (At least brand new and with the orginal retail price)
BTW i think that the animeigo macross DVDs were more expensive than the adv releases.

Yeah i believe they were, and they also came in sets of like 3 which didnt really make sense IMO. You can still get Vol 1-3 of the Animeigo set for around $50 from Amazon Marketplace sellers

When Hibiki is reporting to the people the truth about the Marduk, there is a shot of people watching the report on the street, and one of those civilians is Blade/Slade from TEKNOMAN

BTW i didint notice how bad the source for the Macross II DVD was, when i captured the image i had to fix it because the image looked awful, macross release by ADV looks better, and its 10 years older!!!

it is certain that edition (animeigo edition) of Macross TV is very dificult to obtain...

but...
Today .... that edition is now on sale on Robotech.com... in other presentation...

Harmony Gold ... that has the license of Macross in USA and is the company that it practically has to give to the approval for all product macross that it is sold in the USA.
after Animeigo finished selling its DVDs of Macross... Harmony Gold on sale sent in exclusive right in robotech.com this boxset...
(and as Harmony Gold remained with the Master of Animeigo...)

Harmony Gold coat that boxset... after Animeigo finished selling its edition... and long before that ADV on sale sent to their edition of Macross TV...

the Boxset is sold in exclusive right in Robotech.com... and... I dont believe that it has left many copies available (to robotech.com)

on the other hand...
the price of the Boxset is without a doubt very good.
