That bowl almost looks like a shofar. It's like if they made the one in Harold and Kumar into a smaller, glass version. Neat. :)

Isn't it, though? Not as nice as my wooden, 3 foot gandalf, but it's sweet. All glass, figure 8 piping on it. I love it. You can watch the smoke curl through the glass.

How much did that set you back?

splur Nov 7, 2006 08:55 PM

6"0 even. Supposedly that's high for an Asian guy... *shrug*.

5 feet, 9 and one eighth inches. At least last time I measured, which was like a year or so ago.

FreeHooker Nov 8, 2006 02:24 AM

6"0' even. I'm pretty average, but still growing. So I guess I'm sort of tall.

All this inch talk had me ready to crack a dirty joke.

Katie615 Nov 9, 2006 01:42 PM

I'm 5'9 and I am one of the tallest girls I know. I actually don't have any female friends that are taller than me. I think average height for a guy in the US is probably like 5'11 or so - that's my experience anyways.

Adara Nov 10, 2006 03:15 PM

I'm 5'7 1/2": not too tall, not too short (in America, at least). The first post mentions how people around 5'10" or higher are considered "tall" here in the states, so I thought that I'd share my distorted perception of height. You see, I grew up with a father who is 6'8", so I honestly don't find men "tall" unless they're about 6'5" or above.

On an interesting side note, my father's cousin is 6'4" and is in the Air Force. He ended up in China at one point and the people there flipped out over his height. They were coming up to him and asking for his autograph and taking pictures with him. I don't know if they thought he was famous or just wanted to have a souvenir from the tallest person they've probably ever seen. Either way it's damn funny.

Kalekkan Nov 10, 2006 10:39 PM

5'8 and a half. Sometimes I say I'm 5'9. I feel short at times but I realize I could be worse off.

dat_kasu Nov 11, 2006 12:58 PM

5'5''
That's quite normal for women around here, though most girls in my class are 2 or 3 Inches taller than me.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Nov 11, 2006 07:25 PM

6'4", I'm pretty tall and skinny. About 10 and a half stone if someone was thinking of starting a similar weight thread...

Dubble Nov 11, 2006 07:37 PM

6 ft even. Its funny because in my moms family - I'm the tallest of my cousins. In my dads family (excluding my big brother who's just a little bit shorter) I'm the second shortest.

Rocket Queen Nov 11, 2006 09:05 PM

5'5" and a half, just about.

Moon Nov 11, 2006 09:10 PM

I'm 6'2.5". And I'm the only one in my immediate family over 6 foot, so I'm not quite sure how that one worked out.

Chaotic Nov 11, 2006 09:34 PM

5'9"

Average height... One of the tallest in my family. <_<

Iris Nov 11, 2006 09:44 PM

6'1". I'm taller than most of my family and almost everyone I know. Last time I wore 3 inch heels people wouldn't stop staring at me. :(

Tequila Nov 12, 2006 10:02 AM

I am somewhere around 5'9''... Which is like 175cm. (Sorry, but the inch measurement stuff still baffles me a little... x_x)

slayer25k Nov 12, 2006 10:11 AM

pretty much exactly 6'5" :)

Chie Nov 13, 2006 09:40 AM

5'4 ~_~
wish I were a bit taller to give more of a presence but meh.

Chip Nov 16, 2006 09:19 AM

I'm 6'3" :o Above averge for my country :|

Gumby Nov 16, 2006 10:42 AM

6'2"

Slightly above average in my area. Most men around here seem to fall in the 5'10" to 6'1" range with a few well above that. 6'10" anyone? We wasn't even skinny either, he was kind of built like shaq... he was huge.

I knew a girl in high school who was 6'2" and her sister was 6' even. Yeah, they played basketball.

Roan Nov 16, 2006 11:05 AM

6'1 oh yeah eat that tom cruise.

Eric Nov 20, 2006 03:39 PM

I'm between 5'10" and 5'11", so I said 5'10".

Bolide Nov 20, 2006 04:45 PM

5'10.5" here, but I'm gonna go ahead and say 5'11". Most of the guys around here seem to vary from at least my height to about 6'2" on average.
