I don't like the fine print that says that you must pay for travel costs. I'm a Florida resident, so I wonder if it's worth shelling out the cash to fly to California, just to enter an online tournament where I'll likely get my ass handed to me (not much of an FPS pro).

Everyone's convinced Sony is going to drop some major announcement in tonight's conference, but has this been set in stone? Top speculations include a cheaper price and the ever talked about FFVII Remake.

Those are the rumors? I've simply heard that some guy named Shane, apparently a big-wig, said Sony's going to drop several "megatons/bombs" at their conference.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, as these things are often over the weakest shit (HD Quack Goose game exclusive! Buying obscure company #3365).

According to these guys, the 20gb 'Core' model is going to be recieving a price cut, but this is currently a Japan exclusive. Do we have to wait for SCEA for any word of a U.S. price cut?

This seems a bit too good to be true....Unless their strategy was to initially declare a higher price and then drop the price to make it seem cheaper even though it's still the most expensive....I don't quite believe they can add stuff in at the last minute and STILL make it cheaper....

But hey, more power the the PS3 if it is true.
