From a beta, I'm guessing.

Also, is there a way to d/l WoW? I have an account but I uninstalled it and I was hoping to reinstall it by d/ling it instead of having to get my discs (which are 150 miles away from me).

File Planet might have a downloadble WoW. Other than that, check the Blizzard site.

Actually, if you know someone around closer than where your copy is, you can just install that. Should still work. :P

I tried running that Sandbox, and I can't see my character. Not that it matters, but my character is represented by a white and blue rubix cube-type block. :\

Thanks, but... uhm. How do I run it. I get an error message saying that it can't verify the correct version?

Hard to judge just by watching. I know that from reaing the beta forums so far all the BC bosses are fast and fun.

Hmm...come to think of it BC is in beta now and I think YAWE only works with 5661 or 5669...beta is something like 5991. I did read that they were going to update YAWE. I'll let you know if anything changes.

The rogue gear needs to have a mask. >_<; Unless that guy disabled his helm on that shot on the one that I think dagget posted on youtube.

immp Oct 20, 2006 01:10 AM

The very first T4 screens I saw had a mask for the rogues if I remember correctly. But I think it was super goofy looking so maybe from then on it was always disabled.

Those were just a few boss shots anyway. :P I like how the second boss is a breed between a Beholder and a Metroid. heh.

People in Beta are saying most of these dungeons are awesome, like Caverns of Time. There are a few that some have said were tedious, in regards to mob pulling, but most have stated that the boss fights were fast, fun and some even requires quick thinking and reflexes. Gotta remember though that I don't think Karazhan and the rest of the 10+ person instances have been put in yet. Since those will be what most people are really looking forward too!

I'm glad the website finally got the Collector's Edition back up. I just pre-ordered another copy. :tpg:

Yeah, rogues were going on in the forums that they didn't want to look like a retarded Batman.

I actually like the design of some of the armor. Granted, Warriors and Hunters look the same (honestly they could have done with another color than rust/brown, but eh.) But overall, they all look pretty cool.

rpgcrazied Oct 20, 2006 03:06 PM

guys.. if you want the CE edition.. you might want to preorder now. Ebgames.com is still taking preorders( i hope, my order went through.. so hopefully i get it) I called around my area, and all 5ebgames are sold out of preorders. Get it while you can!

Zio Oct 20, 2006 03:23 PM

Or preorder via gamestop....

And meh I knew there was a mask but I LOVED IT. I want a mask that just covers the face and perhaps everything but the eyes, or even just the face like the ebon mask does. It makes me feel more rogueish.

I like the T4 armor designs aswell they fit their source well, a demonic/alien world. And for once I think the pallies look pretty holy/badass for once, atleast on the draenei male.

I agree. (oh and Gamestop is the same as EB now since they're the same company. :tpg: )

There's no telling how long that the website will have pre-orders still up. If you pre-order through the website, (I got 2-day shipping on mine, which was $5.99) be prepaired to spend about $90 after taxes, special shipping charges, etc...

Of course, I'd rather spend $90 than not get it and see it on Ebay for the cheapest of like $300. :edgartpg:

Zio Oct 20, 2006 05:50 PM

Oh yeah, I forgot gamestop bought out EB. I was told that awhile ago.

rpgcrazied Oct 20, 2006 05:50 PM

my order was like 88$, i didnt get the best shipping.. just 2day air.

The_Griffin Oct 20, 2006 05:54 PM

Ugh, 90 bucks? No thanks, I think I'll stick with the vanilla edition. :(

rpgcrazied Oct 20, 2006 06:04 PM

i know.. im just making it my christmas gift :P

Kaelin Oct 21, 2006 08:52 AM

I (hopefully) got in on the pre-order deal through Amazon where it'll only end up costing $60 IF they ship it to me. I read many reports about Amazon screwing people over with stuff like that, so I pre-ordered through Best Buy's website which was only about 5 bucks more just to be safe. If I get both, I'll just return the Best Buy copy since I'm not one of those folks who feels like gouging out someone on eBay.

I'm also doing ground shipping since I know it's going to be pure chaos on release day, and I'd also rather just wait until most of my mods are up to date since the expansion is breaking all of them with its new LUA version.

rpgcrazied Oct 21, 2006 08:07 PM

ebgames.com is still takin orders it seems like.. Have been all weekend, I sure hope they dont take to many orders that they can handle.. and end up making alot of customers angry.

Six Machine Oct 23, 2006 06:13 AM

Hooray I got into the beta.

Kensaki Oct 23, 2006 11:07 AM

Well good for you I guess.

The_Griffin Oct 23, 2006 11:46 AM

So jealous :(

Wish I could get in... lord knows I'm not playing my shammy much these days. What's the point when anything I do will be more or less pointless when the expansion pack comes out?

Oh well, time to see if they've done anything to fix Elemental yet... *sigh*

Further information on specific worldwide release dates, pricing, and other details will be announced in the near future.

Janurary release date eh? I guess that gives me more time to grind to Commander for my mounts.
