Yeah, but the page didn't really imply that you had to click the "source" link. Instead it said to click the Screenshot Plugin link, which leads to the news for the day.
|
That download link doesn't work either.

Ugh jesus fuck Elixir, get a better internet connection. It's working fine on my end.
uploaded to sendspace for you. This one is R+L+Start to take a picture. |
It wasn't working, but it does now. Still, three messed up links were given. (Well, definitely two).
Thanks though. I guess I'll try this shit out later tonight. I have to take some pictures of some very abnormal activity I've detected while playing Disgaea. |

Seriously, Elixir. |
I just got a Ice Silver PSP slim 2 weeks ago with 3.71 M33-2 firmware, and I totally love it. It's got alot of great games, and that you can play practically any old PSX iso on it is very good! Haven't tried out any of the emulation yet but I'm guessing it works pretty good. And, it's damn smexy :D
By the way, has anyone tried the TV-Out on the slim yet? How does it work? And do you have to play it on a HD TV or something? |

Yep, sorry people with CRTs. Like me. :( |
Why don't you just hook it up to a dvd player?
Most DVD players have AV In, and most support progressive scan ._. |
This is true. In theory the DVD player "should" interlace the progressive image.

I currently have 1.5 firmware on my fatty. I had 3.03OE-A for a while but i converted back (via Recovery Menu) to 1.5 to hack a couple of slims for friends. Can anyone recommend me the best way to upgrade to 3.52 M33? What I'd like to know is if I have to go through every single patch, or is there a full patch that can bring me from 1.5 straight to 3.52 M33.
|
There's an easy way of upgrading straight from 1.5.
I used this tool as a test on another friend's psp, and it worked very easily. I recommend it. it's the PSP Upgrader/Downgrader tool, which makes upgrading and downgrading firmware really easy. |

I heard the TV jack for the Slim PSP (Have the Piano black. Second black model) doesn't work for games; only videos, music and images. Truth or not?
Anyway, now I have 2 PSPs. The Slim one for the legit stuff (except vids, images and music), the other I plan to hack. |
the tv jack works for everything >.> the only things is that you need a Tv that support progressive scan which mean you must have and HDTV to play with your psp slim on tv.
|
You can play games on a TV with the Slim's jack, however it con only be done on progressive scan TVs.
It may be possible to run it through a progressive support DVD player to a 480i TV, but nothing has been confirmed. EDIT *shakes fist at Inhert* lol, oh well. ^^ |
lol same time post XD
it's good to know though, because I was going to buy a slim just for that, but I guess now I'll wait till I have an HDTV :\ |

In other news I might upgrade to M33 3.71-3. I've never bothered upgrading firmware before though, so I don't know if it's even worth it. |
Okay. I'm not going to try to help you anymore. Goodluck finding it yourself. Also, I'm not even sure you even tried the other links, since they do work.

So I bought a PSP Slim the other day. Tomorrow I'm going to a friends house to use a Pandora Battery to achieve some secksy homebrew.
Just need a 4gb stick... |
It costs 69.99 @ Futureshop, the one @ bayers-lake...
Just my luck, !@#$, I hate being poor. |
Are there any compression tools for ISO's for when they're on the PSP? It would be nice to make them smaller until I can get my hands on a bigger memory stick.
|
I use Winnydows ISO compressor.
|
For example lets say I have CSO file, I use devhook's prog. And than is it possible to compress it with the file you just mentioned?
|
CSO is a compressed ISO. I don't believe you can compress an already compressed file further than it already is.
