Not working? Sounds like the situation I was in where anything short of turning off the router's wireless security features would give me a connection error.

Ah, almost forgot. You want some adamant Meditite with Psycho Cut, Psychic and Shadow Ball on them? Also, which ability is better for Croagunk? Dry Skin sounds like ass, giving it yet another weakness even if it makes water attacks restorative. |
Anticipation isn't exactly fantastic, either.
Also, Dry Skin just heals its HP. It doesn't affect Water-type moves used against it. Fire-type is also stronger, so it isn't that good unless you're running a Rain Dance team. |

Anticipation does have its uses, just not very often.
Rain Dance teams seem to be much more effective in this generation than the last. Lots of weird traits and moves that take advantage of it, and Manaphy gets to abuse the hell out of it. There's even been talk of moving Manaphy into the Uber category, which would be the first non-Mew, base total 600 in that tier. |

I haven't seen it personally in the game, but I haven't read anything that indicates Water attacks are changed in any way by Dry Skin. Just that Fire attacks do more damage to Dry Skin pokemon during Sunny Day (in addition to the boost it already gets from Sunny Day itself).
|
You're both right =o.
Toxicroak's Dry Skin ability allows it to absorb water attacks but gains a 2x weakness to fire attacks. If sunny day is in effect Toxicroak will lose some HP per turn (1/16th I'm guessing.) Opposite goes for rain dance, of course. |

Would leftovers stack with the healing from Dry Skin? |

If you want to, Sphere, I could give you the TM to save you some time.
Me = Cheater. So I have a billion of every TM in the game. |

You want anything in return for them? |
Nothing in particular, just PM me with a list of TMs you want.
I'll catch dumpers accordingly also. Then we'll see what time we can meet up online. |

Or I'm doing something wrong, but Shin's registered with a problem |
Oh shit.
It's 1031, not 1301... Time for some editing! |

A Feebas would certainly be handy. What sort of times are you normally online? I'm probably between 5 and 7 hours ahead of you but I stay up pretty late as a rule... :)

You can pick the time, I'll probably be on by then since my sleep cycle is all messed up at the moment. BTW, for those of you aiming for some Lucky Eggs, there's a pretty good way of nabbing them in the Pokemon Customization guide over on GameFAQs. Basically it comes down to: - Save before speaking to Mr. Backlot at the Pokemon Mansion - Reset until he mentions seeing Chansey in the garden, then don't speak to him again - Set Lv 18 pokemon as your leader (with Compound Eyes) - Bring a pokemon with Covet - Use a repel and go to town Basically the only things that wind up appearing now that you've used the repel are level 18 Chanseys and level 18 Pikachus. Got myself 2 Lucky Eggs, a round stone and a light ball so it works pretty well. A question though: If you give a pokemon the egg and shove them in the daycare, will each step count for more exp? Additional Spam: One bad thing about this though is that when you steal from them, the Chansey/Pikachu is KO'd and the weaker pokemon gains experience points. Eventually it levels up and you can't use it for this any more (well, you can but you'll have to wade through countless Kricketune, Pichu, Staravia and Roselia to do so). If there was a move that could steal an item without damaging the opponent, I'd put that pokemon where the Covet/Thief one would be. |
Sphere, I'll get you those TMs as soon as I can. I haven't had a whole lot of time to play since I've been really busy lately. T_T
And I have a crapload of Lucky Eggs also if anyone wants any. <_< |
Finally got a Totodile with Dragon Dance and Ice Punch the other day. EV training an adamant one now.
Also, I just thought about the tournament a bit and how themes would be cool. At Neoseeker they're doing a Metronome Tournament, and I thought how great would that be? It'd be funny and it's easy as hell to have Pokemon prepared to fight in it (meaning most anyone with a copy of the game could get in on it). What do you guys think about something like that? |
There's only so many Pokemon that could learn Metronome though. <_<
|
Actually, more than you'd think. Here's the whole thing from the Neoseeker forums:
